My partner and I went here because we had ordered the tonkatsu on Uber Eats liked it several times, and we had always enjoyed so we thought “why not try the restaurant.” I was a little dismayed when I made the reservation and I saw that they also have yakitori, and soba noodles (why? because restaurants in Japan should generally specialize in one thing). The atmosphere feels very upscale, I assume because of the location and the fact that the primary clientele during the week are business people. Despite my reservations, we decided to try to the yakitori, which were actually pretty good – admittedly more expensive than I thought they should be, but decent. The crab cream croquettes were also very good, and I had the curry cream special set – which is cooked on a ceramic plate – which was actually very good. I especially enjoyed the fact that they put little chunks of meat in the curry sauce -very filling. The tonkatsu is a little pricier than average, but not outrageous, and they use “premium Okinawan” pork – my partner had the pork filet tonkatsu (hire) and very much enjoyed it. Overall, we were both quite satisfied with our experience and the food and I would recommend this place. While the yakitori was decent, I feel that this place excels at Tonkatsu (it’s also the first thing in their name), so come here for tonkatsu, but if you’re with someone who doesn’t eat pork or you just really want a selection of food, then the yakitori is not bad albeit on the pricey side. The staff are very friendly and helpful to make recommendations from the food and drink menus.
The tonkatsu and yakitori are excellent! The meats are very fresh, juicy and succulent with good flavours and texture. The fried items have a nice crunch even if you take time to eat in between your sips of beer. They are also very accommodating if you have dietary restrictions.

名物包み豚しゃぶプラン 和を感じる前菜盛りから始まり、たっぷりのサラダは自家製白醤油ドレッシング。ドレッシングはさっぱり上品な味わい。 低温フライ2種盛りは、エビフライと上ヒレカツ。 ヒレカツはとても柔らかく、サクサクの衣をまとったぷりぷり海老は食べ応え抜群。 と、ここでKazuhito.Tさんがなんと自腹で上ロースかつを追加オーダー。 手前どもがおもてなしするべきであるにも関わらず、大変恐縮で御座います。 遠慮なく一切れ頂きました。 さすがフリッツのとんかつ、衣は軽い口当たりで、お肉はとてもジューシー。肉の柔らかさも素晴らしい。 名物の包み沖縄豚しゃぶは、大根のしゃぶしゃぶから始まります。この大根がしっかりお出汁を纏っていて、それだけ頂いても絶品。きれいに並んだ豚バラ肉は、艶やかでとても美しい。たっぷりの長葱 & 水菜をお鍋に投入し、豚バラ肉を軽くしゃぶしゃぶして豚肉を包んでパクリ。葱と水菜がお出汁たっぷりのおつゆを纏い、お口の中でお出汁のつゆと豚肉の甘味が融合します。 一緒に大根を頂くのも抜群。これ、肉自体に旨味がたっぷりな沖縄の豚バラ肉だからできる極上しゃぶしゃぶ。 〆は更科蕎麦。 しゃぶしゃぶを頂いたおつゆに、上品な白いお蕎麦を入れ、するすると啜ると非常にここちよい滑らかな口当たり。豚肉の旨味とお出汁たっぷりのおつゆが更科蕎麦の風味に加わって、上品なのに食べ応えもある。 後で思ったのですが、おつゆにロースかつを浸し、お葱と一緒に食べても絶対美味しい気がしました。 前菜から〆の蕎麦まで、上質なお料理が頂けるワンランク上のランチコース。飲み放題までついて、このお値段はコスパもすばらしい。 美味しく完食いたしました。
