Came here with my husband and absolutely loved everything about this place. Our dinner here was definitely one of the highlights of our Japan trip! You pay prices for food taste, quality, service, presentation, and atmosphere that would cost you double if not triple for the same anywhere in the West. Through the fantastic multi-course dishes and thoughtful explanations for each food (they did their utmost best for us despite the language barrier), you can feel a lot of passion and care driving this hidden gem’s operations. They’ve also got a cozy little organic grocery store right below them that sells some very interesting healthy foods and other local goods. I regret not picking up some things from there! Do check this place out, you‘ll...

10/10. They have an English menu you order through your phone via a QR code.

Amazing hospitality paired with equally amazing food. I don't say this lightly. We are on a family trip for a couple weeks and this is and I imagine will be the best meal we will have on our entire trip. The price may be intimidating at first glance (~$100 per adult) but at least from Canada where we are from, the portion and quality makes it well worth it.

They were attentive, took extra care (we both using google translate on our own phones) to explain what we were ordering in case of sticker shock I imagine.

If $200 CAD ( ~$150 USD for dinner for two) is what you are looking to spend, this place truly is...

I stumbled upon this restaurant while I was searching for yakiniku dining in the area, and I'm so glad that I found it! I did not have reservations, but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. They also make a strong effort to communicate with English, using translators on their phones. Once you enter the store, it appears to be a marketplace and cafe, but when you go to the back, they have a restaurant! They provided an English menu with a couple of yakiniku set menu choices. Some of my favourite courses were the uni appetizer, gyutan and freshly shaved truffles on beef egg yolk rice. (Shown in the photos) Thank you very much for a wonderful...

Friendly and fantastic staff that provodes great service. Small and cozy - lovely food and drink. Had the multi-meal course that was availalable for ¥18000 which the staff served up very well. Was so full of food at the end we had to take the sandwich within this meal with us as a bentobox as all the lovely previous food had filled us up so much. Would definitely go back just to experience the little food area on the second floor again and whatever else lovely food they have to offer.
