I actually loved the look and feel of the building. It is truly the definition of chic. The interior fits perfectly with the modern and cool vibe that Roppongi is known for and the large windows of the buidling allow for an excess of natural light to flow in as you hear the echos of the city street that you can view at your leisure. The coffee they offer is not vast in quantity but rather dives to the depth of quality. They have both single origin and their own specific blends that all have a distinct taste to them. The blend I got was balanced and starts with a "S" but I can't exactly remember the name. The coffee itself was exquisitely brewed, with swift fruity notes at the beginning, a hint of cherry with some acid. Then it finishes off with a smoky but full after taste. The blend seems to work together perfectly, with the hint of smoke and a slight bit of fat remaining before your next sip only to prepare your mouth for the fruity beginning of the next sip. On the flavor profiles, the sweet taste is being balanced byt the umami of the after taste and vice versa. Each sip is leading into a postive feedback loop that only ends once the cup of coffee has...

First, I thought the service was great. It was raining hard when I went, and as I approached the counter, the barista told me (in Japanese) that I can get the menu and take a seat first. After some time, I decided to order a Guatemalan coffee because I tend to like mild acidity. After I order, the barista told me that my name would be called. But since I sat at the upper area, it must have been hard to hear them. So another barista brought my order to my seat.
I had high expectation because of the recommendation of the coffee community. The flavor note "apple" for the Guatemalan was spot on. The cup was decent, but it's not exceptional. If the price would have been cheaper, maybe I would have been more satisfied. But in the end, since the shop was in Roponggi, it was understandable.
On the other hand, the apricot...
Read moreThis was our first spot for breakfast after our very long flight to Japan. The people are really sweet, the staff was super understanding of the language barrier. Their menu is in English and Japanese. We ordered a vegan breakfast sandwich and the Mexican brew black. The sandwich was amazing! Personally, I don't care for carrots, but the way they combine the ingredients made the sandwich enjoyable. My guest ordered a grilled cheese (non vegan) and a brownie, which whipped cream. He raved about the great taste. There is a 1st floor option and a 2nd floor option to sit and enjoy the food. The music was also enjoyable and given the location it is very...
