I heard about this restaurant from a local while I was exploring Old Town Riga and I just want to say what an absolute find it is.
The aesthetics of the place are unassumingly charming. The service is friendly and wholesome and the food is authentic and delicious with a rotating menu that compliments the culture and the season with fresh ingredients, while providing some of the tastiest Latvian food I had on this trip.
The core concept of delicious, affordable, hearty meals cooked for the everyday people of Riga stands out in a sea of overpriced tourist cafes pushing pasta and Aperol Spritzes.
