BOTTOM LINE - no frills Chinese food in a buzzy setting (rated 3.4 / 5, in comparison to other casual restaurants in Asia)
WHY YOU SHOULD GO The chicken wings: I wish that's all I had gotten and I would have given it 4 stars. They were well-crisped, cooked thoroughly on the inside, non-breaded and came piping hot, glazed in a sweet and salty sticky oyster sauce. I rolled them in chili sauce for some kick. Delish. Unfortunately, also ordered the noodles (average tasting), but mainly rating them down for the Kung pow chicken. The flavor on the chicken was way off and I'm laying here in bed 3 hours later with a restless stomach. Not sure if it was too much MSG or a hygiene issue - quite possible when you look around the place. Value: a heaping plate of noodles, 2 chicken dishes and 2 bottles of water for 35 RM, solid value to be had, given the area it's in.
GOOD TO KNOW - at dinner time, you may have to wait a bit, but they turnover tables quickly (5 min wait for us). Also, check your bill, as they overcharged me by 10 RM and we only ordered 4 items. The cashier apologised and made the correction.

Consider that it’s always packed before you go over for dinner. Parking is haphazard as the road is narrow. There is no queue system. No clear first come first served basis. If there are no empty tables, you walk up to one and awkwardly stand there until the diners have finished their meal. Or, shortcut, locate the lady boss, let her take your order and hope she gets you a table. Either way, you’ll still have to wait a while. Even if you do get a table, even then... you may have to wait typically 20 minutes for your meal... and the dishes don’t all arrive at once. Unless you absolutely have to be in KK, there are countless other better restaurants in every state in Malaysia. But if you do Find yourself here, order the chicken wings and fermented bean curd...

We were there just for a quick bite, so ordered their famous Chicken Wings and a Hokkien Mee. Food here is delicious and makes up for the not-so-comfortable environment. The staff is efficient and reasonably friendly, considering the stress of handling many customers in a small space.
Highly recommended to visit earlier...
