Coffee 45 — Restaurant in George Town

Dine in here for breakfast after giving up queueing for their famous neighbour. It’s a hipster cafe at the classics straits architecture shop lot. Had coconut oil latte and vanilla latte. Their coffee is just average with soso flavour. I ordered club sandwich. It did not come to us as the same appearance as in the menu. They use toast instead of bun (as shown). There were salad, ham and egg as filling, chips as sides. My colleague ordered burnt cheese cake and we could not finish it because it’s just disappointing. The texture course with fine powderly milky aftertaste. Altogether that cost 62 ringgit. Customer service is just alright. The apple pie was amazing!!! I think this place is underrated, they do some really yummy home made foods. I think some rebranding would improve atmosphere, currently stuck between old branding and new… I don’t think ‘wrappy yappy’ is best because you do more than wraps. I think remove the turquoise and just go for white walls… remove the clutter on the shelf and add plants. Clean and simple. The chalks boards are good, maybe place more outside and get someone good at art to draw the apple pie! Sorry I hope I come across as being helpful not weird!!...

One of Penang's under-appreciated gems. Good selection of healthy wraps. The smoked chicken avocado wrap is my favorite. The breakfasts are not expensive, but tasty and healthy. I love their cheese omelette. The apple crumble is great. Coffee is not out of this word, but certainly not bad either! There's a good selection of smoothies and milkshakes. Friendly, helpful staff with little turnover over the years. Overall, unpretentious, simple, but a nice quiet place to hang out and enjoy some good...
