An authentic Thai Restaurant with simple layout without the Thai style motif or also known as (aka) decorative image or design, especially a repeated one forming a pattern. A simple seating or setup arrangement with limited food but no dessert selection was available due to less crowd as claimed by restaurant owner. The only dessert available is during weekend which is the Tub Tim Krob (Red Rubies but without Jackfruits). We ordered the Thai Deep Fried Squid, Pad Woon Sen (Fried Glass/Green Bean Noodle), Pad Thai (Fried Thai Koay Teow), Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Chicken Feet Salad and drink is the Thai Milk Tea. The Deep Fried Squid is tasty but we felt it was over-fried which makes it over crunchy and the Pad Thai which was supposed to be Koay Teow was something like an instant noodle but it was interesting and flavorful. The notable dishes are the Pad Woon Sen (Fried Glass Noodle), Seafood Tom Yum Soup and Chicken Feet Salad which was mouth watering, aromatic, deliciously tasty and spicy for the Chicken Feet Salad. Great place to have lunch or dinner, crowd was just a trickle and it's sad to see if this place closes down. Overall this Thai restaurant serves great food, reasonably priced, tasty and the portion size was average for a typical eater but enormous portion if you're a...

Krung Thep Thai Restaurant is an absolute authentic Thai food lovers! Every dish we tried was bursting with incredible flavors. The Green Curry with Chicken (RM27) was creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced – truly satisfying and comforting, especially with a generous portion of chicken. The Thai Seafood Glass Noodle Salad (RM26) was wonderfully refreshing; a fantastic blend of sour, spicy, and sweet, packed with fresh seafood and bouncy noodles.

We also thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Deep Fried Squid (RM17) – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, it made for an excellent appetizer. The Minced Pork Tofu (RM24) was surprisingly delicious, with the tofu absorbing all the savory goodness of the sauce. Even the Stir Pak Liang With Egg (RM26) was a delightful discovery, offering a unique local Thai vegetable flavor. Don't miss their classic Thai Milk Tea (RM6.5) – it's the perfect sweet end to a spicy meal. If you're craving genuine Thai street food flavors, this is the place to be! Highly recommended for...

This will be the first and last time for me to visit this restaurant. I will rate poor rating for the service and food for this restaurant. A simple order of 3 cups of coconut milk shake, pineapple fried rice, pad thai and shrimp egg rice keep us waiting for almost 1 hour 30 mins with the end result that only manage to serve the pad thai and pineapple fried rice. The coconut milk shake took 30 mins for the serving. The orders wasn't make in sequence and let customer keep on waiting. The food is not rice and not worthwhile to spend time for waiting. Their attitude in serving customer is ignorance. No apologies for the delay. Please THINK TWICE if you plan to visit...

Family-run small place just off Jln Macalister with really good fresh and spicy food. I began with green curry - spicy and delicious and also tried their chicken coconut soup that was devine! It was packed with chicken in a light and spicy flavourful stock. I will caution you to check the amounts charged as they do not provide a bill and it seemed higher than the listed prices both times I visited (close to where I am staying). I did not say anything - because there are a plethora of places to eat in this city and I will attempt to try them all!
