The taste 4/5, sweeter than gani not spicy which i love it too. If you like spicy i suggest to go gani but so far. Both are great. The price was pretty normal. I grab 6 things, like cucur udang 3 and things that look like fucuk 3 cause they are so yummy! Ive tried taking other stuff in gani before but honestly the cucur udang is to die for but dont ever take squid/crab/prawn. It cost me only Rm20 to take these 6 things. But honestly what makes it tasty was actually the cucur udang and the thing that look like fucuk. You should grab them like 2/3 each of it probably cost rm3.5 per pcs. Its tottaly worth it, this time i managed to get all of cucur udang. So i regret nothing. For services, its pretty normal that it was slow. Sometimes it takes them alot of things to chop chop and cut. Since i've tried coming in earlier and even later to see if it was slow during peak hour or not. At that time i was so lucky no people around to order so not many people que and i get it quicker rather than have to wait for my turn. Hussain is much friendlier tbh the way they respond to their customer. If you want to see gani review go check their places that i review...
Read moreI was under the impression (from a Grab driver’s recommendation) that this was going to be fried dough with peanut sauce, like a doughnut. NOT THAT. Truly bizarre food and experience—no regrets.
Step one: get on line 1 and wait to take a very large plate and use tongs to select your choice of dozens of items from the counter.
Step two: load you plate with a mountain of fish balls, lobster balls, deep fried tofu, deep fried cheese, battered whole lobsters, crabs, squids, octopuses, giant prawns, shrimp cakes (all in their shells), cookies, and a variety of hot dogs and sausages.
Step three: get on line 2 and wait your turn to hand your mountain of fried wonders to the chef. He then chops it all up and tosses it like a salad with julienne cucumbers and douses it a dark maroon nutty chili sauce.
Step four: eat.
A truly new culinary experience for me, truly positive experience— novel flavors and textures, salty and sweet, crunchy and a little bit spicy. One was enough!
$18myr for my portion, see pics. My plate was about a quarter the quantity of what most folks took. Was plenty for me,...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Pasembur King Hussain. I do not recommend this place at all.
The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional — they even raised their voices at customers and seemed irritated when we asked questions. The pricing was also misleading. Despite a price list being clearly displayed, I was charged RM35 for 3 plates of nasi goreng, when the total should have only been around RM25. We were also charged RM45 for a pasembur which is way overpriced.
To make things worse, I ordered Teh O Ais, but they told me it was “finished” — yet I saw other tables being served the same drink. Instead, they brought ABC and cendol without my request and insisted that I pay for them. This felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge and upsell without consent.
Our order was delayed, some items were not even prepared, and the staff had a very bad attitude. It was hard to enjoy the meal when the entire experience felt stressful and unfair.
Definitely will not return. Save your money and...
