A little disappointed today after been there few times. We have ordered fish and chips for my uncle, but when arrived, the skin is soggy — not crispy at all. We showed the waitress and she took the dish back to the kitchen to cook it again.
2nd time serve, when cut open the fish isn’t well cook. It means they didn’t defrost the dish well before fried them. We showed to the server again, but the server a bit reluctant to send it back to kitchen. I asked him if he could ask the kitchen whether we can replace it with chicken chop instead having this fish keep on frying again and again. He went to asked the chef and chef insist to replace us with a new fish and chip.
All and all, we waited 1 hour plus for this dish and when the 3rd round the dish arrived, finally the outside looks crispy everything ok till my uncle cut further, it was not well cook as well. I show to the waitress and this round, i showed her the uncooked part of the fillet, and I said you need to ask chef to replace me with another as after more than an hour asking for this simple fish & chips and yet the result is so unpleasant … the chef could have just replace us with the chicken chop since he doesn’t know how to defrost and fish fillet. They have wasted our time and my money … sad.
Their restaurant isn’t full house, I can say around 6 tables, they have almost 4 person working in the kitchen alone and this is the result of their order. The chef need to...
Read moreI have not had such a poor experience at an eatery/restaurant in a very long time, no matter how busy/popular a restaurant is. It was understandably a busy brunch hour. It they only had 3 poor servers who were pretty much clueless. Waiting times were horrendous (not an overstatement at all) for an outlet that sells kopitiam fanfare. To give you an idea what horrendous is: sky juice took 30 mins, teh o ais and butter toast 40 mins, Nasi lemak 50 minutes and all other food 90 minutes. To make things worse.. after much enquiry, the staff told us that the chicken burger is taking that 90 minutes because it is a “labour intensive” dish. I would have been halfway through my mains if I were at a fine dining restaurant even if they were cooked on order!!! And also at the 90 minute mark, one of the servers came to tell us that “oh actually that other dish you ordered is unavailable” which was not communicated much earlier. Non of the staff were apologetic, and forced upon us to pay for the chicken burger although we had wanted to cancel, saying that it is already done. Had we been fussy customers, there would have been a commotion already. Food was nothing to shout about. Best of all, non of them were apologetic about a single thing! Wishing this restaurant the...
Read moreI went with Jimmy & our pet today. Please take note that we are willing to follow the house rules of every pet-friendly cafe (There are many indoor pet-friendly cafes in KL which do not have the similar house rules as yours). We went to your shop few months back and none of your staffs requested any diaper on our pet hence we were not aware of your simple house rules about diapers on pets. Anyway, today when your staff told us that there must be diaper on our pet, we purchased a piece of diaper from the shop at RM3.00 immediately, however the diaper was tearing apart easily, we informed the same to your staff and your staff just told us to bring diapers from our house and walked away. Thus we left the shop immediately as we didn’t wish to break your simple house rules since we didn’t bring any diaper from our house & the one provided by the shop at RM3.00 per piece was of bad quality. About the rules of keeping the pets leashed, we believe most of the pets there were not on leashed when we arrived at your shop today and your staff didn’t inform us about this rule. In any circumstances if our pet may have littered at any cafes/ parks, we always clean up and pick up after our pet. Hopefully the shop can provide better training to the staff....
