My recent experience at this Halal version of Din Tai Fung was not too bad. Firstly, I just want tonsay that it isn’t as good as the original one and its mostly because there was no pork. However, it still suprised me as the quality of the dishes still remained and the atmosphere was still had a very high class feel. We ordered some cold cucumbers in chilli oil and szechuan peppercorn spicy fried chicken as appetizers. The cucumbers were cold and refreshing as a nice palate cleanser and the chicken was crispy, tender and had the nice taste and aroma of dried chilli and peppercorns. For mains, there was dry chilli oil noodles with shrimp wanton and soup chilli oil noodles with shrimp wanton. The noodles were chewy and flavorful and the chilli oil didn’t make it over-spicy🌶️. The shrimp wanton was decent too. Finally ,was the MVP of Din Tai Fung, xiao long bao( chicken). It wasn’t too bad, the hot flavorful soup still made it enjoyable to eat. And for dessert we had glutinous rice balls ( those were MASSIVE) with a bean paste filling in lukewarm soy milk. Had a lime and asam fizzy water. Overall, a pretty nice place for people to try out Halal Din Tai Fung. The only drawback is that it...

came here bcs of tik tok haha. no pork & no lard din by din tai fung, 1st thing 1st i love love the ambience. so quiet and peaceful. recommended for those who wants to have small chat. so far i think this is one of the best chinese cuisine i ever had. tried the hot & sour noodle soup. fresh black fungus drive the soup to perfection. the dry wonton noodle was full of flavor, mix well the noodle and dumplings make it more scrumptious. roselle rose tasted unique but too sweet. chicken and shrimp dumpling was so juicy but a bit chewy outside but full of flavor inside. the chicken broth chicken xiao long bao was damn good with aromatic ginger and garlic. im just assuming the ingredients haha but so so good cant deny. the only thing the brought to 4stars was the chili oil. i dont get it why it tasted more to "dry shrimp chili oil". fast service with well dressed staff and good SOP. they will double check ur order to make sure everything served on table. i would come again next time. 👍🏻

Other branches have better food👉🏻👈🏻

Food & Beverage:

  1. Xiao Long Bao ✅ Wrappers are thin and abit transparent ✅ With sliced ginger, soy sauce and vinegar ❎ It's soup dumpling right? Why it so dry inside😭I use chopstick poked a hole on it and expected some juices! Almost cried when I see how dry it was ❎ And the wrapper abit dry out 😢I really don't understand fresh serve Xiao Long Bao can have dry wrapper ❎ No PORK in here (only realised this when ordering sigh) ❎ Small but expensive

  2. Shredded Chicken Noodles(? Not really rmb the name) A total failed noodle, seriously, it taste like msg and soy sauce no need money to buy, very salty. And the chicken not fresh. I'm willing to pay the price because I expected fresh food good taste good service😬Please improve

  3. Earl Grey Lemon Tea Not tastes like earl grey but whatever still can drink 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have tried another Din Tai Fung branches bfr, so I really dunno what's wrong with this branch. The only good thing about this Din Tai Fung branch is provided...
