A complete joke! If you’re here for the actual durian fruit, forget it.
Didn’t try other products so can’t comment.
Merchandise were pretty cute and I might have bought some of them if the experience wasn’t a complete let down.
We ordered 2x tasting platter (RM$108 each) despite the price as we thought the quality would be superb since so many people were raving about this place online. And if they had the audacity to sell at such price point, they must be very confident of their products. For reference, stores in Bukit Bintang had promotion of 3 Musang whole fruit for RM99.
We were advised to start from the “Prime” and work our way down to “Black Thorn”. We assumed that the taste would only get stronger and heavier.
To our dismay, 2 out of the 4 durian was tasteless and definitely did not taste fresh (D160 and Black Thorn). It tasted like frozen durian that was thawed before being place on the tasting platter. For the RM$216 that we paid, we probably could have gotten at least 4 whole durian fruit at any stores along the road and would definitely have gotten more than 8 durian pulps. And for that price, we weren’t even served any drinking water.
We did highlight these to the staff but nothing was said and done.
See attached photos. Look at the prices of the durians sold and then compare them to what you can get outside. If you’re looking for 100% guaranteed disappointment, this...
