We ordered the Plain Nasi Lemak, Squid Nasi Lemak , two glasses of teh tarik, one iced tea.

I'm going to bluntly say it was not good because the sambal was on the spicy and sour side which was different than what I used to eat or usually found at other restaurants. I'm usually quite an adventurous person and open to new taste but the sambal was not good. Maybe it was just me as my husband said that was the taste of the local people there. They might not like the version of sambal elsewhere too. Maybe. It was a matter of preference. So, you have to try it yourself as the existing reviews were quite high.

The squid was chewy andtasteless. The service for nasi lemak was fast as there was no queue. So was the drinks.

We wanted to try the Roti Canai but the system was a failure. There was a long queue. Like really long. They should have put more manpower for taking and delivering roti canai instead of clearing the tables. The cashier was not friendly. The cleanliness of the area was street-standard.

Parking at the area was charged around RM5-10. The total for...

It's quite pack even on a weekday but I love how efficient the ordering system is here - or the lack of. You simply walk up and grab a plate and take what you want and pour yourself however much curry or sambal as you want. This is the same for the drinks so there's barely any line despite it being peak hour. on top of that, there's a live band here. The menu seems simplistic but tasty -roti canai, roti canai telur or nasi lemak for breakfast. Don't let the simple menu fool you. The food is served hot, it's tasty and filling.

The only complaint is the parking -there is none as it's a stall opposite Menara Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. So you'll have to park inside Quill Mall and take the exit behind Roast & Grill to get here. Just follow the sounds of the music. This definitely seems to be the breakfast hangout...

One of my favaroute spot for roti canai middle of KL. The roti is soft and full of flavours. The chicken curry accompanying the roti is smoky and satisfying eaten together with the roti. Today I ordered roti telur bawang with 2 eggs(roti with two eggs and unions) and ice tea no sugar. Parking is a bit difficult but you will managed. Pak Hassan will shake your hand after you made payment showing his gratitude for selling the roti. The shop is like kampung shop don't expect luxury, kampung shop in Kampung Baru. Look at the photo I attached then u understand why you should rush here to have breakfast. Byw Monday close don't come. Other days open from early morning...

Not that much difference from Wanjo Nasi Lemak, if you like that type of nasi lemak and this kind of sambal, probably this is for you. Portion for me is enough, taste right and not salty (my plus point always, wanjo has this salty issue). Parking is available but you need to walk a bit, which for me is fine. Price is reasonable. Their roti canai and kari ayam has long queue but I didn't get to taste it. I will come back for that. According to the eaters and fans, the roti canai match with kari ayam (with the chicken feet) are the bomb. Definitely worth a try.
