We came here for breakfast, and overall, the food was amazing, but the service could use some improvement.

I personally don’t like having to order through QR codes, especially when there’s no physical menu available. My mum isn’t comfortable with ordering digitally either, she prefers speaking to someone, as do I. Part of what makes dining out special is the human interaction. If we wanted to order on our phones, we’d just stay in and order room service at our 5 star hotel!

That being said, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Peanut Butter Croffles, and my mum had the Biscoff Croffles, both were incredible. They were beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and so filling that we didn’t even need lunch afterwards. I also ordered a matcha, which was lovely, and my mum enjoyed her English breakfast tea as well.

The atmosphere of the café is nice, but the service didn’t quite match the food quality. The staff didn’t seem very engaged or cheerful, no smiles, no “how’s everything going?”, which was a little disappointing, especially since Malaysian hospitality is usually so warm and welcoming.

I wanted to give this place 4 or even 5 stars because the food deserves it, but the lack of personal service held the experience back. Hopefully, with a little more warmth and attentiveness from the team, it could easily become one of the best cafés around.

So, I grabbed breakfast and coffee. The breakfast was big and tasty. The coffee was good too, and the cup was a decent size.

But when it comes to service – crickets. No one greeted me, no one explained anything. And what's up with that ridiculous "QR code on the table" screen? Come on, folks, you're here to earn money.

QR codes are everywhere these days, but everywhere else, people are still people, not just sausage-and-egg-flipping machines. And to top it off, they charge a 10% service fee when there's no service at all! You have to do everything yourself through the app, and at one point, it even asks for a phone number, which most guests probably don't have.

I almost felt like getting up and leaving, it was that absurd. But luckily, there was a "continue as guest" button hidden somewhere below (it's not immediately visible), so I managed to place my order.

Not a single person in the place paid any attention. Even when they brought the coffee, I had to practically beg for a hello.

Anyway, I highlighted at least 3-4 areas for improvement in my review. If they fix those, it'll be fine. A café isn't just about the food; otherwise, they should've opened a cafeteria.

P.S. What kind of service are people talking about in other reviews? Oh, right – reviews. People will put up with anything for a free...

When I first entered the restaurant I felt like it was a nice vibe immediately… I was then seated and instructed to place my order on through the QR code… After placing my order which was a lemon grass tea and potato hash with sunny side eggs and a croffle. When I received my food it looked and smelled delicious… I then took my first bite and my potatoes were not cooked thoroughly… The potatoes were hard… I explained to the waiter that my potatoes were not cooked and he immediately took the dish back to make a fresh one… When I received my food for second time it was exactly the same as the first time… I explained to the waiter that I would like to have my potatoes cooked well done and soft and he then attempted a second time to correct the issue.. I then received my dish for a 3rd time and now it I had half fresh food and cold food… Like they left the old items on the dish and just served fresh hash… Also there were less potatoes, less salad, and my croffle was hard and cold. I was waiting for this meal for 2 hrs and they never got it right… It was so frustrating at this point it didn’t make any sense to keep them trying to make this dish over again because now I would be receiving the same service so there were no other alternatives other than to ask for a refund… This a big...
