Graze — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

A group of us booked the "chefs table" private room and once we sat down, we found two finger nails on our eating mats.... which wasn't a great start to our experience/meal. The waiter came in and asked what we wanted to order for dinner but didn't ask what we wanted to drink... When taking orders, we asked where the steak was imported from but he didnt know, two people in our group asked for a side of fries with their steak but the waiter said they dont sell fries.... so they asked for some steamed vegetables instead which he replied "we don't sell vegetables but you can order a salad from the starter menu".

Luckily, the waiter said he could get fries from another Hilton restaurant downstairs which was helpful but when the mains arrived, the fries didn't. We had to ask the waiter twice to ask where the fries were but when they eventually turned up, the people who had asked for fries had already eaten their main course.... fries for dessert?

The waiter was kind but did not seem experienced. We showed him the finger nails on the mats after the meal and he insisted on giving us a complimentary bottle of wine and almost-like profiterole dessert which was nice but unfortunately, our experience at Graze was already tainted.

We had the most welcome and wonderful evening at Graze an Italian restaurant in Hilton Kuala Lumpur tonight. After spending almost 3 weeks in Tuscany in July 2025, one can imagine our tastebuds expectations. Nicola and his team did an amazing job preparing the most delicious Italian cuisine for us. While we were mesmerised with Nicola's culinary skills, our tastebuds and memory carried us back to Tuscany. That's how great and authentic the food at Graze. To top it of, and typical of Hilton, their focus on customer service and experience is second to none. Period. Olivier from Netherlands and barely a month working here was our serving us like a pro. Azizul made sure that our needs are met and never did we need to signal for a refill of our drinks. Their attention to details goes beyond carrying out a waiter position. Thank you for taking such good care of us. It's Hilton, the ambience and classy set up is top notch that goes without saying. We're already looking forward to seeing you...

I had the most memorable dinner at Graze KL Hilton on 2 Oct 2025. I came in late, about 9:15pm and was met by Azizul with a gracious sincere welcome! I had the soup, Guazetto, a mix of seafood with warm spices that I mopped up with the Ciabatta that was rustic with a slightly crisp crust and tantalising taste. My main was Spaghetti Tonno, tuna in the most luxurious tomato sauce by Chef Nicola. It was perfectly balanced with a good kick of pepper flakes and capers!! I cleaned up the sauce with the remains of my Ciabatta. I ended my meal with the Cannoli. What can I say? It was the best Cannoli I had in this region!! Chef Nicola came up for a chat.
