Zeta Bar — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Stayed at Hilton for 5 nights in July and went to check out Zeta bar. Nice cocktails, but the highlight for me was their international band - Lockdown.

I studied Music Performance at uni, so when watching a live band I can't help but think back to my performance days! These guys were absolutely brilliant. They play a mix of Latin, rock and popular hits and they do it all brilliantly. They interact with the crowd and get everyone in the mood.

Each member is a highly skilled musician. There's nothing they can't play and I found myself coming back each night just to hear them play. Absolutely brilliant and would love to see them again!

Looks inviting until you walk in and smell years of smoke absorbed into every surface It stinks

The bar tender fancies himself as a mixologist but the selection of alcohol is smaller than a teetolars bar cabinet. The don't know how to mix drinks and I agree with the previous reviewer that drinks are diluted and inconsistent

Acoustics are terrible You can hear the band and music but the aural experience is sullied by TV showing sports

The crowd is a liitle sketch Me thinks this is where you come to ahem meet gold diggers or escort services Hard to tell them...

If you like live bands that play current mainstream pop and some oldies, you will like Zeta bar. They always try to attract a good band and people appreciate it. You will never see empty dance floor in Zeta Bar. The crowd is mature and you will see a mix of rich guests and their companions. The drinks are good and not watered down as in other places in KL. However the place is small and on a busy night it's impossible...
