I can’t deny the fact that they do serve delicious food but I just don’t like their service at all. Our company was having a lunch Gathering today in the restaurant and when we were trying to double check on the bill (after she asked our boss to pay), we realized that they charged us on the food that they didn’t serve on the table.
So we informed the Indian waitress that the dish was not served yet was charged in the bill. She replied us in a higher tone to insist that she serve the dish on our table infront of us and assumed that we don’t know what is Yam ! I wasn’t happy about this and this conversation was on-going for 7-8 mins arguing she did serve it on our table.
So we requested her to check with the manger / kitchen to see if it’s true. In the meantime, our guests and boss have already left as they had prior engagements while we stayed and waited her to double confirm.
Without our acknowledgment, she came back and brought the new bill without apologising for the mistakes she did and requested us to pay again because she wiped off the previous transaction. This is where I got angry, not only she didn’t apologise for the mistake, she also never asked our permission before she cancelled the previous transaction.
We have to make another call to our boss again to come and make payment which is not reasonable as we thought of asking them to help us to pack and take away the food that they forgot to serve instead after the confirmation. But nothing was informed other than taking the payment device to us asking us to pay again.
I tried to inform the Indian waitress that this is not professional at all as they never ask for alternative / permission before they decide anything. But she replied in a rude manner that the restaurant is fully occupied today and she is being kind enough to come and serve us and etc ? She also tried to argue that she brought the food infront of our room but she didn’t manage to serve it at the end, so they charged us, but the main point is they never serve, isn’t it ?
I didn’t scold her on the service, I only adviced her to ask before they make decision on behalf of the customer next time. But she just stood strong with her point that she is busy and she is right. My apology, I couldn’t withstand this attitude at all. I was hoping a professional service from a better restaurant but this is pretty disappointing.
(Of course at the end the manager did follow us to another hotel to get our boss and I received a call from them as I left my purse in the restaurant, thank you very much for this, but do look into the abovementioned...

We visited Chynna on Sunday over the Father’s Day weekend—a day where you expect the crowd, the wait, the buzz. So when our food took a little longer than usual, I said nothing. No complaint, no fuss. Just... waited.
But somehow, the quiet spoke volumes.
A well-meaning staff member approached us, gently suggesting we sign up for Hilton Honors to enjoy a discount. I whispered, almost shyly, “I’m already a Diamond member.”
From that moment, something shifted.
Celine came over with a heartfelt apology for the delay, offering desserts on the house. Chyler—warm, attentive—began personally serving our dishes, checking in, and later returning witha dessert and even complimentary juice. The gesture did not feel like compensation. It felt like care.
And then… the tea.
The tea master, elegant and precise in his every motion, served both my wife and me two complimentary cups each of Eight Treasure Tea—simply because I asked him more about the tea he is using. No charge. No ceremony, except the quiet one in his hands.
We had also ordered Chrysanthemum (mine) and Pearl Jasmine (hers). Each cup was fragrant, balanced, and full of quiet complexity—just like the evening itself.
Food-wise, my wife went for the Dim Sum Platter—delicate, well-executed. I chose the Mock Shark Fin Soup—rich in flavour, guilt-free in conscience. (Yes, mock. You raised me better, Earth.)
The service from Weeleng(help us took a photo) , Celine, Chyler, and the ever-enigmatic tea master left a lasting4 impression—not because it was flawless, but because it was human, thoughtful, and deeply attuned.
Would I return?
In a heartbeat. Not for status. But for the way the evening made us feel seen, cherished… and gently...
Read moreHad business lunches here a couple of times and this place never disappoints. Sure, prices are on the high side but they serve excellent Chinese food.
Dim sum platter was great and the fillings were high quality. Large pieces of prawns for both the Har Gao and Fried Dumpling and scallop and bouncy meat for the Siu Mai. Have also tried their other dim sum selections in previous visits and can attest that they taste as good.
Their soup tasted perfect, not overly salty, with a hint of sweetness from the ingredients and had the right amount of umami-ness. The bowl came with a large piece of shiitake mushroom which was easy to bite into, a medium-sized abalone and a piece of chicken thigh.
The fish was steamed very well too. Meat was flaky, not over-cooked and the sauce not overly salty. The soy sauce also had a hint of sweetness from the fish itself.
The fried rice, however, was alright and although it was well-seasoned overall, I found it to lack a bit of wok hey. The bits of chicken char siu was also just alright and I found that they didn't lend any of their flavour to the rice.
Last but not least, the dessert was great - highest compliment to any Asian dessert is that it's not too sweet. The jelly pudding does not taste overly herbal and had the right amount of sweetness. It was a refreshing end to the lunch rather than cloying sweet desserts.
Highly recommended for business lunches (or if anyone wanna...
