Tien Non-Pork by Putien — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Love it!! Halal version of the putien chain. All we ordered was gooooodd except for the tauhu (i asked whether its the traditional Tofu, the waiter said yes but the one came was the egg tofu - taste was ok but i was expecting something else kannn) seafood fried rice - love it beehoon - love it, the noodles were so soft mee sua - nice also, but i think not much different from the beehoon except that its slightly wet sweet and sour chicken with lychee - love it, chicken was just cooked nicely and sight crisp. Love it. And and i didnt even know there was lychee lol tauhu - oklah wouldve prefer white tofu instead of the egg tofu

We had all the above for 3 pax on sharing basis. Portion just nice.

Ambiance wise - not so uptight like lai po heen, and i think Tien even tasted better!!

Will definitely come again especially for the seafood rice and beehoon! Saw that its available also on grab - so can get our fix delivered to the office yahoooo

However, im still looking for a fried lotus pancake which i last had a goodd one in spring garden (closed for good already). Anybody knows where? Didnt like the one in lph and it was not on the...

Tien Restaurant is a wonderful Chinese cuisine restaurant located in KLCC mall. I had a great experience dining there, starting with the delicious food. The chili prawn with mantou and beef shredded with sesame buns were the standout dishes, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The starter platter was also a great way to start the meal.

The service at Tien Restaurant was top-notch, with Razi leading the team in providing excellent service. He was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations on what to order. The team's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my dining experience all the more enjoyable.

The food was nice for the halal version of most of the usual dishes. However, the service was very slow, and the instructions were not followed correctly. The recommendation wasn't done appropriately as well, so when the food came, it wasn't enough to feed 13 pax. We were promised the food was to be served quickly and wouldn't take long for the top-up orders, but we waited for our final round of dishes to be served after everything was done. We ordered stir-fried vermicelli and requested for it to be served in individual portions, but it came in 3 dishes, which took another 20 mins for it to be plated out to individual portions. The taste was nice, but it was a tad cold by the time we ate the food. For premium price , there was no doubt an expectation for good f&b service.
