McDonald's KL Sentral — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Very tight space Infront of the counter, not very clear at first which lines were for ordering and which for waiting for food. No clear signage to make sure people are standing in the right place. When people need to pass while you're lining up, it gets difficult because of the right space.

When orders are taken the receipt is lined up on the countertop while they process it. Once the counter is full of receipts, no one takes anymore orders and all staff start preparing food. While waiting you need to pay attention to what food is called out because I wasn't given a receipt or number to hold onto while waiting.

The process seems quite haphazard, but that said, my order came out very quickly 😄

Seating was readily available so I guess most people get takeaway. The smokey grilled beef was delicious, something I haven't seen in other countries. Staff was cheerful and friendly.

Ordered a breakfast McMuffin set, bubur ayam and a nasi lemak. They somehow lost our order and we waited a good 20 mins before I checked with them as we were running late. They didn’t have our order and the staff took my receipt and started to make the order, handing everything over to me hurriedly. Checking the bag, there was no hash-brown and straws for the drinks so I quickly requested it. Otherwise everything else looked correct. As we rushed to the gate to board the train, I stopped to arrange the food in the bag properly so it is easier to carry and realized, the nasi lemak had no sambal in it! The bubur ayam was bland as water, there was no salt and seasoning… I ate my nasi lemak with the 3 packs of mcd chili given with it but am utterly disappointed at this horrible service.
