Michelangelo's Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This is one of the restaurants located at the general walkway that has a lot of foot traffic. Nice place to sit outside the restaurant to people watch but no aircon. If you prefer a more comfortable cool place to eat, then interior should be your choice.

The waiters are attentive but not intrusive, while the menu is quite self explanatory with illustrative pictures.

I must commend the food that they served. All of them delicious. Starting with the fried seafood snacks, not bad. Just a thin layer of batter to give it crunch. Unlike some places that load it till you feel as if you are eating batter as the main component. However if there's a small issue to nitpick, it's that the seafood tasted strangely dry. Maybe frozen and stored a bit too long.

The cod was the highlight here. Expensive but generous portion. Soft fish meat, nicely cooked skin with yummy sides. Definitely worth the cost. Pizza was also tasty. Medium thickness crust, good cheese and freshly hot served. That goes for the spaghetti too. Arrived hot with generous gravy and seafood, it was enjoyable. The gravy was thick, aromatic and most importantly tomatoey delicious.

I finished with the panna cotta. Good consistency with the required soft melt in your mouth feel. In the end I had a great meal and relaxing time here. The cost will determine the times you eat here though as it's on the...

It was my first time dining here and it was an awesome experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, going beyond their duty to give us and other diners the best service possible. However, the whole mood of the restaurant was tarnished by an awful woman who would not stop complaining and raising her voice to the members of the staff along with other patrons of the establishment. She first entered the store upset that other diners were sitting in her “regular spot”, she made so much fuss over this in front of the diners eating at the table and drinking that not long after her tantrum they left. As the night went on, she kept making snarky remarks along with many racist things, as one of the staff members explained to us, she was a “regular racist”. No staff member deserves to be treated this way and she should not be allowed back in. When we asked a staff to further explain what they meant, they said she comes in 2-3 times a week demanding all sorts of things at the same time belittling many staff members in the process. Besides the horrible behaviour from this demon spawn, the meal we had was absolutely perfect and would 10/10 go back there again, but not if that lady is there, I’d stay away, don’t want to be caught...

We DO NOT recommend this restaurant because you will not receive what you have ordered and will find waiters giving you what they think you should take and lying about it.

For example, we have ordered kombucha with celery-cucumber-spinach but they give us apple-carrot. When we said to them that we don't want apple-carrot, they told us that they always give this kombucha and it's exactly what we ordered, just the producer didn't specify the other ingredients.

So, three waiters came to our table (including the manager) and INSTEAD of saying "We don't have celery-cucumber-spinach kombucha, maybe you want another flavor?", they just tried to convince us and argue that it's what we have ordered, like we can't read the ingredients on the label.

Ok, in the end we took the ginger one...

Then we ordered a salad "with Provolone" and the main ingredient was supposed to be "provolone cheese" but it was NOT there! At this point, we didn't even complain anymore with the staff to avoid another lengthy argument with all the waiters coming to our table again and maybe trying to convince us that the croutons are actually cheese :)

Additionally, the portion are quite small considered the price and the average quality...
