My first time dine in at Putien Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The food was served quite fast which is out of my expectation during this CNY peak season. However there are few things which made me don’t feel comfortable and had a very bad experience with them.
No full price display on their menu. The staff keep on pushing us to go for the big portion of the dishes we ordered but we can’t find the price on their menu. The price displayed on their menu is only for small and some medium size of those dishes. When I asked for the complete menu with price, they said they don’t have it which I was surprised why not everything priced on the menu. Ended up they printed us the receipt for our reference which we really appreciated it.
They have a very serious fruit flies issue. Our food were “attacked” by those fruit flies until we called the staff for help. They passed us three candles but it’s not helping much. Some of the flies even fall on our food. It’s my first time encountered so many fruit flies in a proper indoor restaurant. Not sure with the other tables but ours are pretty serious; it’s annoying and very unhygienic.
This is the most unpleasant thing happened during my dining experience at there. They served us a dishes which we didn’t ordered. We thought it was ours as it is a noodle that somewhat looks like the one we ordered so we start eating. Then suddenly a young lady staff came to us and said it might wrongly served. We stopped eating immediately and wait for her to check on this as she said she needs to check with her manager. After waited some time, finally she came back and apologised that they served the wrong dishes to us. We clarified with that young lady staff on what they plan to do with the dishes as we are fine if they want to take it away since we just only started eating and had immediately stopped when she came to us. She said it’s fine, we can have it as it’s their fault and they are not going to charge us on it. We thought everything was in good hand as that young lady is quite responsive and sincere. However, when we went to get the bill, the male manager at the cashier included the dishes on our bill. We told him that we didn’t ordered this as we think he might forgotten or accidentally included it. He just remain silent and printed us another bill without that dishes. Nothing was said and he just passed us the bill. He made us feel like he knows and he was just trying to make us pay for the dishes they served wrongly to us. We are fine to pay if it was communicated to us earlier and we did asked them before what they plan to do with the dishes. This is not the way you should treat your customers.
Overall, it’s not a pleasant dining experience to us and this will be my first and last time...
Read moreA bad and disappointing Thumb Down👎experience in Putien Pavilion KL. We had dine in at Pavilian KL Putien for 3 Pax dinner on 10-10-2022 Monday around 7pm. Firstly, We were not been advised professionally by Senior Manager Sky Kwok, We had ordered from him with some extra food that make us felt too full instead of enjoying the best cuisines from Putien. Secondly, I had personally requested some extra toothpicks from the so called Senior Manager Mr Sky Kwok, he told me that I already taken the toothpicks from the table. He is willing to SELL toothpicks to me if I needed extra, for which I felt ridiculous that Putien a Michelin One Star restaurant offered to sell toothpicks to customers and they felt proud with that compared to recommended Putien cuisines served. Thirdly, when I settled bills with Pavilion KL outlet Manager Mr Hon Yunn Bin, I asked him again about the toothpicks, he answered proudly to me that Putien did sell toothpicks if I need some extra. Very rude and arrogant attitude that irritated me a lot. Hahaha, both of Putien Pavilion KL Outlet Manager Mr Hon Yunn Bin as well as Senior Manager Mr Sky Kwok attitude and service standard they provided to customers were totally unacceptable and did not meet the so called Michelin One Star Restaurant. Shame on both of them, they should sent back for Re-training otherwise the whole outlet would be poisoned by the poor service mentality. A very unhappy dining experiences in Putien Pavilion KL. Putien with such Senior Staffs is not qualified and fit to operate in Pavilion KL. NO Star given to Putien Pavilion KL, if possible their Michelin One Star Restaurant name should removed from the menu in Putien Pavilion KL. Blacklisted and will not visit Putien Pavilion KL again compared to other...
Read moreDefinitely got conned going to this one. I am contemplating going to the consumer council and making a complaint that the signage at the front of the shop was deliberately crafted to make one notice the words 'Michelin one star Restaurant' as it was eye level but after consuming the food and one takes a second look, one sees that they're actually speaking about their Kitchener Road unit in Singapore. Which was actually smaller in font size hidden above the Chinese characters which were much larger.
Why the fuss?
Well. For starters the service level is exactly like a fast food restaurant where the waiters kept pushing dishes out onto your table one after the other even when there isnt enough space in the table. Secondly, they kept wanting to serve dessert when you've not even finished your mains. Mind you, all this occurred within a matter of 20mins max.
We ordered the set menu for 6pax and we thought that the rabbit fish and the fried chicken were the only dishes worth speaking about . The rest were made to fill up the menu and the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food plus the rush job.
This restaurant should be regarded as a Chinese fast food restaurant where the owners Definitely knew how to take you for a ride simply because you've misread the words Michelin one star Restaurant and for 6 pax plus drinks and taxes costing over RM 640++ . Well . You know why were weren't happy.
You could easily get better quality food and service elsewhere for that...
