Petaling street is located right in Chinatown in the city Kuala Lumpur. In the street itself there are many hotels, rate are affordable and if you just need a bed to sleep & a place to stay then this is the right place. In this area ( Chinatown ) the whole street of about half km long is full of street stalls selling from watches to Tibetan's handicraft. Chinatown wont be chinatown without its foods, from fried noodles to clay pot chicken rice. There are side walks tables where one can eat and drink and watch the world goes by into the wee hours of the night. If you have enough of the day/night a few walks away is your hotel where you can sleep late the next morning and wake up looking forward to another exciting day in Chinatown or venture out to nearby interesting places like the centre market ( 10 minutes walk away ), to KL sentral the places where all visitors & locals meet ( main transportation hub ) and many other interesting places. Try it out if you don't like the hotels there there are 3-4 stars hotels nearby but don't think there is a need for that - the extra cost can be saved and spend at chinatown -...

So lucky I found this hotel because the price is good and the facilities are great and in good condition. At first I confused how to get the receptionist. You should use the lift and go to 1st floor. I paid deposit 50rm but it returned when we checked out. The receptionist is kind and considerate. They'll give you towel, blanket and the room key. Then you should use the room key to turn on the electricity. Hot water available and you can adjust the temperature, but the AC is hard to control. The tv provides 9 channels only but only 6 works but it's fine. The room is spacious I take the standard queen room, I really love the rack and the table because it is useful to put your stuffs. The room is clean but the bed is a bit hard and only a thin bed sheets but for me it's okay. The location is strategic because food, cheap souvenir shops, convenience store everywhere and this area close to other attractions places. Great experience here, surely I'll back to here again if I return to...

If you are Bukit Bintang the back packing paradise of Kuala Lumpur you should definitely give a visit to Jalan alor night market for a sumptuous dinner. The Jalan alor has every food say Malaysian,Thai, indian and what not it is a complete fusion place.I tried some Malaysian food and mostly Chinese food as I was with my hongkok friend so I really had one of the best Chinese food in my life I tried a lot of food you can see the pictures of the food they look awesome and they taste even better. So if anyone want to have their dinner avoid going to fancy restaurant like KFC,mc Donald's,etc they are every where instead try some Malay or other good food in Jalan alor

Petaling Street Hotel is great if you’re looking for an affordable stay with a fantastic location right in the heart of petaling Street. The best part is definitely the price and convenience. However, the cleanliness could use some improvement — there was a bit of a cigarette smell, and the towels weren’t very clean. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. One thing to note is that the booking showed RM56, but I was charged RM61 plus a RM50 deposit, so keep that in mind when booking.
