Although I haven't actually been to KL Eco City, I've ordered from this outlet a number of times. Despite my misgivings, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food produced. Considering how generous they are with their portions, the prices are kept reasonable (given that are one of these "healthy" salad millennial chains). It isn't perfect though -- I have to point out that their Japanese cucumber tends to be quite bitter, the cherry tomatoes usually underripe and hard/pale/sour, and the asparagus fibrous and overcooked. But the reason why I'm still giving them 5 stars is for their customer service. Whenever I put any special requests in during my online orders, they've made every effort to follow them. So much so that even once, they called me up just to make sure that they understood my requests, and even offered to add on more substitute ingredients when I wrote not to add certain items! Plus, the bowls always arrive with ingredients arranged well. Another thing I like is that they also have chickpeas, kidney beans, potato and sweet potatoes to select. Not all places have these as well as quinoa as a base. Also, the scrambled eggs here are DELICIOUS. I don't know what they use to make them but they are nicely cooked, not too hard or watery, and have a very fragrant buttery aroma. I love them with either potatoes or in a sandwich. Their roast chicken, which sounds plain, but is actually very well seasoned and has a bit of chilli spiciness, but nothing too overwhelming (I can tahan and I usually find even Maggi chilli sauce too spicy). Generally, I don't need their sauces as I find their meats quite heavily seasoned, so adding them makes the bowls a bit salty, but I've heard friends who've tried their premade options with the sauces and have been very complimentary. All in all, I definitely will continue ordering from them (I don't see myself ever stepping into the treacherous maze and signal black hole that is KL Eco City) and highly recommend...
Read moreWent there to redeem my Lazada coupon today. After I showed my coupon to the cashier, she just said "we dont have materials to prepare" with a frustrated and annoyed look with no attempt to further explain or say a simple 'sorry' for not able to serve. None of the ingredients required to prepare my meal is exotic, so how can you let anything go 'out of stock' without a single substitute? And are you aware that some of your restaurants are really not interested to serve customer that visit with coupons? With the looks I get today, it's as if I did something very, very wrong. Anyway, not going to visit again. I'm working in the area so you guys have lost a potential loyal customer. Now I even hesitate to visit...
Read moreI placed my order at 12:06 and waited until 12:46, only to find out my meal had been ready for some time—but I was never notified because the tag’s battery was exhausted. If you’re using a tag notification system, it’s essential to ensure the batteries are working properly at all times.
What frustrated me even more was that when I first approached the cashier to ask about the delay, instead of checking on my order status, I was simply told to wait. Had someone verified it, they would’ve seen that my meal was already prepared. Due to this oversight and a faulty tag, I ended up wasting a significant amount of time standing there...
