NOT RECOMMENDED! THE MOST TERRIBLE SHISHA EXPERIENCE!! Shop manager were extremely rude and unprofessional at handling a situation that can be handled easily but instead being arrogant and escalate the things further. We came here to have a good experience of shisha since it’s the only one we could fine here but ended up having a bad experience. First we had to wait almost 30 mins for the shisa to come and after few puffs the shisha started to get stronger and I kept coughing, fyi it’s not my first time trying shisa so I know if something is not right. I called the staff who was the manager to fix it but instead of solving the problem he kept saying there wasn't any problem on the shisha it was fine, he even mentioned the charcoal has burnt and assumed it was us who put the charcoal too close to each other but it was their staff who put it that way. At the end I was trying to discuss with the manager but he was being very rude rather than giving me a solution, he kept on claiming the problem was not from the shisha and since he was being arrogant, stubborn and couldn't handle the situation well, I asked for his upper manager or other in charged person, he refused to provide the contact details and said he was not allowed to reveal it and close the shop light and mentioned i wasted his time on this....
Read moreHad the American breakfast here, alongside a Cafe Latte w/ Almond Milk. I would say that the dishes here are just your average American western style breakfast you could get, nothing really special about it.
My friends and I agreed that the food may have been slightly overpriced for our liking but that may just be the fact that food is just relatively more expensive here in Cameron Highlands.
We dined-in on a Sunday morning. The waiter was attentive, however he looked as if he was disinterested in serving us. Perhaps he was just not a morning person! 🤭 Despite his stern look, he did manage to provide good service to us, which goes by the saying, "don't judge a book by it's cover".
Seating arrangement wise, there are tables located outside the restaurant where you're able to enjoy the fresh cooling morning air. If you prefer otherwise, there are also tables inside of the restaurant which is more cozy.
I would say that this would be a nice place to dine in if you stumbled upon it, but perhaps not a place that you'd go...
Read moreWe stumbled upon Scott’s cafe. We were hoping to find some scones with clotted cream and Scott’s cafe had some. We liked them. My husband especially liked the scones - moist, with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam and quite thick scones. Most places seem to only have whipped cream. Finally some clotted cream!
I thought the atmosphere was family friendly. We’ve been going to different restaurants around the area and many of them have seemed a bit chaotic (or not so clean) with kids in tow, but Scott’s was clean, quiet, no tv’s blasting and the waiters didn’t mind the kids. We could relax and kids liked that it was clean.
We ordered a thin crust pizza. The price point was quite high. We had a good one time experience there. The milkshakes were fine.
A nice option for tea and scones, a meal or light snacks and for families that want a space that’s clean, without the noise of tv’s and somewhere inside without flies.
They were a bit funny about payment and how we could pay. Wasn’t quite a friendly...
