Good food, TERRIBLE SERVICE. I usually don’t leave a review but this outlet might be the worst service I have ever encountered with MK - and this is the second time I visited yet still no improvement at all. None of the staff will attend to you from the moment you step in - it started with no one care to guide you to the table and make you awkwardly stand there for few minutes, no QR code given until we asked for it, bad line in the restaurant yet their own wifi is not working - and the staff still don’t bother to take our order manually even we‘ve raised our hands for few times. It’s not even peak hours to dine and yet most of the staff will act busy, hide behind the kitchen counter, or worse by pretending not to see you. Caught two of the staff, the petite lady at cashier that’s not very attentive and also a male waiter, Roki, who clearly saw me raising my hands but still ignore me twice until the third time I kept staring at him then only he slowly walk to our table. During our entire dining experience today, we noticed the table next to us asked for a glass of ice for so many times before they can get it, the table at the back also having trouble scanning the QR code and can’t seem to catch the waiter to manually order - also not sure if the store manager in black suit is having his break because we don’t see him managing the “busy” staff nor attending to customer requirements. Even tho the food is fairly good, but still doesn’t recommend this outlet at all due to the lousy service.
UPDATE: Realized the staff in this outlet tends to put FAKE reviews to make the Google rating goes up. When genuine customers rate a bad rating especially about the bad service, immediately/ the next day there are so many good reviews about their service. If you read carefully you’ll realize the names are almost the same - how can a customer and a waiter who provides good service share...
Read moreHad encountered very bad response from your employee. Not sure if he chose not to see or to hear us. He was not wearing a proper attire without nametag. He was the only one without nametag. So I cannot mentioned his name here, but he has a tattoo at his neck. He worked at front of the restaurant at our section. Walking passed us everytime we raised our hand and calling for him "excuse me, sir". He chose to ignore us. I was not sure what happened to him that day. I was so unhappy and dissapointed. For me servicing is not only provide food to your customer in a quick number of time but the whole experience. I can see the other tables asking help from him too but yeah he chose to ignore them. I personally had to stop him and ask him for help. Like seriously. I saw a customer do the same. I was really upset and dissapointed with the service giving by him. Eventhough your food is delicious, but the experience matter. You may asked me why I did not ask help from other staffs. Well, I want to ask you if other staffs saw me raise the hand too or busy getting out food from kitchen. I had asked them to but yeah I did not get what I want. I had been to your KLCC, Pavilion and One Utama branch. They had proper service experience from start to finish. I am sorry I will not come to your restaurant anymore. I hope you train your staff properly to give us better experience. I wanted to report to the manager but it seems the manager was not available when I wanted to go home. I was really really dissapointed and upset. I wish you all the...

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
After a decade-long hiatus from Madam Kwan's, my recent visit to the outlet at IOI City Mall has reignited my appreciation for their culinary prowess. The Nasi Jamboree chicken, once a disappointing memory, was now a delightful surprise, with tender, crispy chicken served freshly cooked and brimming with flavor. The beef Kuey Teow noodle dish was a true highlight, boasting generous slices of tender beef that were impeccably cooked, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
A standout treat was the Sago dessert, featuring a thick, creamy texture that left a lasting impression. While the use of real Santan could have enhanced the flavor further, the dessert still stood out as a delectable finale to the meal. The crunchy and fresh Kailan vegetables added a delightful touch to the overall experience. I'm pleased to say that my faith in Madam Kwan's has been restored, and I look forward to returning for more savory delights.
Thier prices are net including Tax. So that is the total you will be paying from their menu. This is value for money and quality, due to the quantity and amount of fresh and abundant ingredients they provide. One meal can actually feed 2 grown adults. They have a kids menu as well.
