The food is nice here, but for service, to rate over 10. I’ll give a 5 points.
Went there on 11/2/2021. It’s the second day government allow the shop to open as usual and able to dine in.
I definitely understand that there will be some kelam kabut situation. But the way the dining manager talk to us is not friendly.
When we would like to dine in, he told us have to wait 20mins a.
I was like, errr ok. But maybe you can turn another way round to tell us, like, hi, due to there’s a lot of people dine in now, we’re short of manpower, it will take some time to prepare your food, is it ok?
But not asking how many person then tell us have to wait 20 mins a. It’s not professional at all, it’s like not welcoming customer.
Then, when we want to order food, there’s waiter/waitress around, I know they are busy, but them all have to same attitude, ignore those who raise hand and act like they saw nothing. I think its a sense for them to be more alert on it ?
Next, when we would like to order some dessert, the dining manager tone to inform us they don’t have the dessert is not professional.
: this one don’t have o.
Again, I was like, why can they speak in this tone ?! And somemore is dining manager ah 🤔
After experience such tone, I chose to wait and ask another waitress to come over to take my add on order. Then, this waitress tone is friendly enough. She told us in a nice tone, currently only xx available, other is out of stock.
Aiyooo.
I really don’t mind to wait or what, but the way to inform or speak is important when you want to deliver the message 🤦🏼♀️
Last but not least, again, the food is nice, I ordered char kuay Teow. It’s yummy. Just the service, really need to...
Read moreFirst was full of questions, the menu seems ordinary Malaysian or SEA food. Secondly was surprised by the staff's friendliness. I asked whether the Cantonese fried noodles consists any beef as I can't consume, and order a spaghetti Bologness for my friend. End up the staff came back and asked me whether I'm okay with the bologness consists beef (my friend okay with it). Every serving point was just so right and even when paying.
And last, the food. Pricey, but served with huge portion. A plate of noodles or fried rice and serve two normal eaters. Good taste. Otak-otak fried rice nice, full with wok hay, but expect more flavouring changing in texture or smell, as too "boring" in taste.
Cantonese fried noodles extremely delicious. The prawns were fresh, squid nice to bite, not too chewy. The noodles surprisingly nice in texture, smooth, soft, but not easy to break. Sauce was nice, nothing special, but match with overall.
Satay, 21 ringgits for 6 pieces, served with cucumbers, lemang, onions. Satay obviously homemade, thick, juicy chicken meat with nutty sauce. At first, thought not worth it for the price, but seeing the taste, will go again.
Interior design wise, with pink color blinking round shape on wall, I just don't get it. So not much comment. Near to Sunway skating field, noisy, hard to have...
Read moreThis is my second time dining at this outlet, and the food here continues to be the best compared to all the other outlets. We had dumpling soup, glass noodles with soft shell crab and otak-otak fried rice.
The dumpling soup is a delightful blend of flavours and textures. The minced prawn and chicken filling in the dumplings is succulent and well seasoned, providing a savoury bite with each spoonful. The broth is light yet flavourful, perfectly complementing the dumplings.
The claypot glass noodles with soft shell crab is a dish that truly standout. The glass noodles are stir fried in dark soy sauce, giving them a rich and umami flavour. The highlight, of course, is the soft shell crab, which is cooked to perfection. The crab is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, adding a delightful crunch to the dish. The combination of textures and flavours makes this a must try.
Lastly, the otak-otak fried rice is a unique and flavourful dish. The rice is perfectly cooked and infused with the distinct taste of otak-otak, a special fish cake. The dish is well balanced and not overly spicy, making it enjoyable for a wide range of palates. It’s a creative twist on traditional fried rice that is...
