Read moreWandered into this place after checking gleaming google reviews. We were seated immediately and half a small piece of bread and a small bowl of olives and sun dried tomatoes were left in front of us. We were offered beer/wine. We opted for beer, coke and sparkling water. We were given a 250ml pour of beer and a 750ml bottle of water. We waited patiently for a menu, but upon asking we’re told there were no menus. We are both vegetarian and waiter just asked what we wanted. They didn’t do any pizza so we asked for one portion of penne arrabiata to share because we didn’t want to eat too much - which the waiter said was possible. We were then brought a huge sharing plate of spaghetti. It was extremely spicy and Al dente but otherwise tasty. We were very shocked when we got the bill - no menus mean no prices. Food in malta had been very cheap and we’d been here all week- our average meals for 2-3 starters, 2 mains and drinks were around €30-40. We were charged €55 for pasta half a beer, coke and a bottle of water. Complete rip off. Do not eat here unless you want to pay...
