Presto — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

After a week in Cabo this was hands down the worst dining service experience I have encountered. Our server was absent from the time we ordered our meal until we were done. We literally had to ask other servers to bring us water, utensils, dessert menus and correct a wrong order. Then magically when we were ready to go she showed up with a smile looking for a tip. She spent most of our meal on the boardwalk laughing and talking with people passing by. Halfway through our time there the music was turned so loud everyone in our section was literally yelling for them to turn it down. It took a patron walking into the kitchen for this to happen. The food itself was great, but we have no plans on ever returning here. A medicore meal with good service out trumps a great meal with terrible service everyday and this was terrible...

We had the greatest time as we were seated at the front table. The live music was just what the doctor ordered. Beautiful setting with the sail boats in the marina right there. The soup was good. The seafood pasta was delicious. And the lava cake with the chocolate coming out as we cut into it-tasty and hit the spot. The casear salad wasn't good. The little starter thin bread was a nice change. Small intimate place with great staff. The large bottle of carbonated was expensive. Two bottles equaled the price of the main courses. THIS RESTAURANT DRUGGED US We were a party of 6, and we didn't make it past appetizers before 3 of my family members fell unconscious. It was clear they drugged the wine because within 10 seconds of each other, the 3 who drank the wine went unconscious and were obviously drugged. The host was incredibly rude and seemed to be looking for a fight, rather then helping us to get medical treatment. We ended up getting a flight the next morning and leaving our trip early because of how unsettling and traumatizing this experience was. Please, never give this restaurant your service and be safe...
