Mixed review....We booked this cruise through their website, we received our Pay Pal receipt and even confirmed our reservations via email with a San Francisco based owner, Frank Rowden. When we arrived at the dock to board the ship it was no where to be found. When we called the number on the websit, we were told they had us down for a different day and time and because we would only be in Cobo for 1 day, they would not be able to take us out. We had already paid for this excursion and confirmed with Frank but of course they don't have that down. When we were leaving the doc the owner who lived in Cabo overheard what was going on and informed us that he had a private charter he was taking out but would have one of his guys find something else for us. Long story short, he was very kind and helpful and indeed helped us find something else but we had to pay additional money to this new charter boat. Which at the time didn't mind doing. We were told we would get a full refund from La Princesa...NOPE! Now we're stuck in battle with Mr. Rowden to get our money. Which more than likely won't happen because he's been paid and doesn't care. If I had to review the kind man from La Princesa in Cabo for helping us save our day, 5+. The Charter who had just gotten back from early morning fishing and thought they were done for the day but agreed to take us out, 5+. Mr. Dishonest Frank Rowden...
Read moreWeird experience. We booked this for a bachelorette trip, consisting of 12 women. When we first arrived to leave for the tour, the man greeting us told us we were late (although we had a printed confirmation of the time we book, which we arrived early). We confirmed $700 and gave him this money on arrival in cash. The boat tour itself was okay. We saw whales. The crew was attentive to making sure we always had drinks, etc. It went downhill when the crew brought us back an hour early. In the booking, tuna sandwiches were promised. No sandwiches, all we had were chips and fresh salsa and some mediocre guacamole. When we got back ONE HOUR EARLY, we felt scammed and requested a refund for that last hour that we didn’t get to experience. The man we gave the money to yelled at us for 10 minutes and said it was our fault for being late (remember, we weren’t late). He said he actually lost money on us and said he gave up a group of 40 for us “girls”. No way that boat would have fit 40 comfortably. He did give us $100 back, but with the rate we paid, should have gotten $200 back. When we called his boss, Jorge, he yelled at us and then hung up. Long story short, DONT RECOMMEND. Not sure if they have bad management and poor booking skills or what but it ended up being poor customer service...
Read moreI found and booked them through tripadvisor/viator and the overall experience was great. Even the kids had a lot of fun. The docking is at Dock D and was ontime. We first left the marina which was crowded with other boats and tours and headed straight to the arch. We spent about 5-10mins at the Arch for nich pictures in the middle of the day. Please dress up appropriate to wet conditions as the water gets rough and no one of the catamaran stays dry.
When we were done with the Arch, we were supposed to head to Santa Maria Bay for snorkelling but we took a stop as they were 'humpback whales' reported on the way. The whales put a nice show for us before we headed for the Santa Maria Bay.
The Santa Maria Bay which is also a public beach was amazing for snorkelling specially for the kids for shallow view of amazing fish.
Couple of recommendations for Tripadvisor/Viator is to mention bringing of towels. We missed that note and had to air dry ourself. Secondly there is an open bar but the vegetarians had to snack on Guac and Chips on the boat. The sandwiches were tuna sandwiches.
Great music, food and service...
