I wish I could give Cabo Yacht Life (C.Y.L.) a million stars!!! We booked on the phone with Joe who was fantastic. Our plans changed a couple of times due to adding more passengers, he was a joy to work with! Booking, emailing and talking on the phone with C.Y.L. was a breeze. We had an extraordinary, phenomenally, amazing day aboard the C.Y.L. 52 foot Opulence. My family of 11 sailed into Cabo on the NCL Bliss, and 6 of our friends were vacationing at a Cabo resort and we all met at C.Y.L. Dock B. Our group were ages 2-55 years old-everyone had a blast. Our Captain was Jose and the First Mate was Nicole, they met us at the dock right on time. Once aboard, they gave us some instructions. Safety was #1 priority to the crew, and we greatly appreciated it. The crew got beverages for all of us and off we sailed. We used my son's playlist on his iPhone to play on the yacht's sound system. We went to Los Arcos first and the Captain stopped and circled so we could get all the pictures and videos we wanted. We then sailed out so that we could get a couple pictures of the NCL Bliss from sea level. Our next stop would be Chileno Bay. On the way to Chileno Bay, we saw dolphins playing and so many whales breaching, so many whale tails and so many whales spouting. The number of whales we saw was unbelievable. We anchored near Chileno Bay. The crew brought out the oasis and the SeaDoo Swim Bobs that we rented from them, and we spent the next few hours playing in the water, relaxing and enjoying Cabo. While we were playing, Nicole prepared an amazing lunch. Jose and his second mate were always roaming around the yacht and on the back of the boat to help us on or off, answer all of our questions about the area and make sure we had everything we needed. The yacht was perfect, the salon and both of the bathrooms were clean, and the cabins were spotless. Our 2-year-old grandson used one of the cabins to take a nap while we sailed to Chileno Bay. The other cabin was perfect for changing. C.Y.L. had plenty of ice chests filled with ice cold beer and plenty of room for some beer that we brought along. Nicole was an excellent bartender making cocktails and serving up shots. If you are considering chartering a yacht in Cabo, I highly recommend Cabo Yacht Life. We spent a week on a cruise ship and our day in Cabo on the yacht was the high light of our trip. We all had...
Read moreWe had an amazing time aboard the 47' SeaRay Sundancer named, appropriately, Cabo Yacht Life. The kind and highly skilled Captain Antonio along with lovely hostess, chef and first mate Janet made everything absolutely perfect. They made us feel so welcome and at ease right from the start. Captain Antonio went over the best route for the day, and it was idyllic. This was at the end of April, so we didn't expect to see whales, but we spotted a few humpback whales off starboard on our trek up the coast. We took a 4-hour trip, and we anchored in a lovely beach cove to go snorkeling. The water was around 70 degrees, and there was a good amount of tropical fish along the reef. The seabob was a blast! It is easy to learn and so fun to use! Being able to fly along the surface of the water, or dive down as long as you wish to hold your breath and glide back to the surface is an awesome experience. Captain Antonio even put out a huge float mat to lounge in the water. He also rinsed-off all our gear with fresh water after we were finished. Janet prepared a delicious lunch for us to enjoy after our snorkeling was done. The homemade guacamole and farm-fresh ingredients were perfect. She also mixes a killer cucumber margarita, and she made sure we had plenty to eat and drink. Another detail they see to is to hook-up your phone through bluetooth so you can play your favorite tunes. That was like living in a movie with your own soundtrack! Also, the owners really care about their clients and they go above and beyond to iron-out every detail. We really appreciated the excellent communication, from paying US dollars to having an English-speaking crew, down to detailed directions to get to the marina. We arrived in Cabo off of a cruise ship, so this was our personal excursion. Worked-out beautifully, and we got back to the ship in plenty of time. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a luxurious experience with a surprisingly approachable price. Thank you, Cabo Yacht Life crew and owners for a fantastic, luxury experience we'll...
Read moreIt started out as a good day, very communicative staff and response to book was quick. Upon arrival things were smooth, rules were explained, money was collected, and we were on our way. Food and drinks were provided, however for the 7 people we had, the food was pretty limited. The tequila was poor quality for the price we paid per person and we were told it was going to be âpremiumâ. Our waitress Annette and captain were great, no complaints there. However, upon docking we tipped the captain in cash as a thank you and then started receiving text messages (as shown in the pictures attached) from a Joe, assuming he works as a partner for the company. His complaint was regarding tip and how we did not tip enough after paying $1155 for the boat. Then because we did not respond to his text message in a timely manner he proceeded to register our phone number on a spam list for âfunnyâ Craigâs list ads. (As shown in the picture attached). Not only was this extremely rude, it was very unprofessional and a violation of privacy. Unfortunately I will never be booking with this company again and I encourage others to take my experience into account before booking. Hate to be the one to leave a bad review but this needed to be...
