La Central Cocina & Bar Los Cabos — Restaurant in El Medano Ejidal

Really nice restaurant with great food and servers, but they need to figure out if they are a club or a restaurant.

They had live music (which was really good) but was so obnoxiously loud that we could not hear across the table without actually yelling. We were on the upper patio at first and after trying to get the music turned down to a reasonable level.

We ended up being transferred inside where the music was not as loud and we could carry a conversation. Then during the music performers break, dance/club music was turned on super loud inside. Once again I had to get up to find someone to turn it down again.

One other odd part of the evening is when we paid, the server asked in front of everyone about how much tip to be applied. Usually that's a private matter that isnt advertised to the entire table.

I really hope this new place can figure out their identity as a restaurant as the food was very good.

However I will not eat there again if the music is as unreasonably loud at 7pm for dinner as it...

My husband and I spent several hours there while we were waiting to meet a friend. They have a really lovely breakfast menu including things like eggs benedict and avocado toast. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and we're not rushed at all by our server Felipe. we decided to order lunch, and ordered the grilled artichokes, the beet salad with goat cheese foam, tortilla soup, and black bean soup. They were all excellent and we would definitely return again!this is not your typical touristy restaurant. There are a lot of solid dishes on the menu. They do advertise that they sell wagyu, and they are also dry...

The view is super nice, you get the shade, the awesome marina and you can chat, drink and people watch for hours.

The drinks were a little on the expensive side and I wasn't impressed. At 260 pesos my Long Island wasn't amazing.

Downside is you are interrupted by a salesperson every 4 minutes, making it annoying to try to chat.
