I went to Cabo San Lucas and tried this place which is seafood among others but with an original touch from the chef, which makes it special and we know it will cost more. In my experience I can say that of all the places I have been to of this style, they are not worth it and have high prices and I think the chef's touch is simply a higher price for a product equal to what you could find elsewhere but with less flavor and completely losing the Mexican touch. BUT... Let me tell you that to my surprise this is not the case. Definitely this is a place that still has the taste of Mexico and the extra flavor that the chef gives is really good and not only expresses it in the design of their dishes and their prices as most do, definitely in this case you can tell that there is love and originality plus a lot of flavor in their dishes. The best of all is that the price is not so high, if it is a little higher than a regular place but it is not exaggerated, added to that is the place which overflows with originality and the service is excellent. I rarely give 10 points to a place but this place definitely gets all my applause. Congratulations to Wachinango's his chef and all his...
Read moreI guess when Narcos invite themselves they get served first and have VIP experience. So we had to wait since we are just the tourist that are here just to give money to y’all.
This place behind the brothel will give you margaritas where I’m yet to find the alcohol in there but has lots of sugar though.
It took almost an hour to have 2 tostadas out of the kitchen. Unbelievable! We had order a bigger dish and after we were done with the tostadas we’ve been basically told they won’t cook our food. We were not ready to wait another hour for another bad tostada or order something else to be told in another hour that they don’t have it. True story folks !
We spent over $500 pesos and over an hour for 2 bad margaritas and 2 tostadas. A shame. If I wanted this type of atmosphere I’ll be in La Paz. If I wanted to wait 1 hour for a tostada not good I’ll go to Cancun. Waiter just had no respect, for us at least.
El pescador next door has been a much better alternative- not only cheaper but with a much better food and waiter are nice and don’t after tips like...
Read moreMy family and I were visiting Cabo for vacation. We first went to Wachinango's while on a food tour through AvoCabo (also 5 stars) and the food, atmosphere, and staff were wonderful. We visited again when my uncle caught a marlin while fishing and the head chef broke it down and prepared us a six courses of appetizers and another five courses of main dishes utilizing the fish in many different ways and styles of cooking. The experience created by Manny Serrano, executive chef, was something my family and I will never forget. He personally prepared our group special dishes and came to our table to explain each and every one of them. From the presentation, to the taste, the food was unmatched and some of the best seafood I've every had the pleasure of enjoying. I know many visitors will not have to chance to experience what my family and I could, but the restaurant menu is amazing as well and would recommend anyone with a love of seafood or wanting to have new food experiences to check this place out. My family and I will definitely continue to visit...
