Rated one of the Top 50 bars (I believe it is around #47 on the list) - it is worth the visit but you might want to book first because space is limited. We got lucky and went early. Most of the women on staff were nice (they are all women, hence the "witches" theme) - except for girl at the door, it was a good experience. They serve up a total of 12 different cocktails with various liquor bases (rum, gin, Mezcal, etc) so not more than than two cocktails per liquor on average. The drinks were very good - not amazing but very unique with some equally unique paired items placed in the glass (large pressed corn flake, roasted corn nuts in a small cone, etc). The atmosphere is very cozy. Great for a date or just to enjoy the mood. They have some finger bites - we had the olives and padron peppers which were both very tasty but they have more items for small bites. Overall: Recommend going.

Atmosphere: 7.5/10 Roma Norte. Ground-level bar inside the Casa de las Brujas. Cozy overall, with a mix of bar stools, low couches, and table seating for groups. Backbar is attractive and well stocked. The music leaned loud — still enjoyable but not ideal for long conversations. A standout detail: this is an all-female bar team, which adds a distinct and empowering identity to the space. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Queen Witch Playful, themed cocktail menu with photos and full ingredient breakdowns. Garnishes were thoughtful and presentation consistent. Glassware was average, and only some drinks came with coasters. Menu concept was memorable and fun. But the flavor balance and depth did not fully convince me. Service: 7/10 Water served on arrival. Team was professional but didn’t come across as especially friendly. Prices felt average for Mexico City.

Our favourite cocktail bar in CDMX. We tried most of the top bars in town over the course of two weeks and this is the only one we came back to multiple times. The decor and vibe is really fun - a little vintage British club / mystical and they have a lovely covered outside patio. A lot of reviews seem to think this place is snobby and have issues with it taking reservations, but we found it to be very pleasant and the concept of bars taking reservations is something new to us (we love it!). We tried most of the cocktail menu and loved how unique each drink was. We sat at the bar each time and loved watching them craft their brews with all their home made cordials and tinctures. Definitely on par with the “top” bars in the city (Handhake, Limantour) but in a beautiful location with a better vibe. Only downside: the bathroom is comically small.

We were excited to try Bar Las Brujas. When we arrived we were directed to wait in a line outside the bar to be seated.

When we were called the host with pink hair had us stand at the end of the bar. We had waited 20 mins standing outside for a seat, everyone had a table for the exception of one couple that was in front of us in line were directed to stand, but that was not what we asked for.

When I said “We are waiting for a table, we do not want standing spots” she said she “we will let you know when one opens” but there were already 2 seats at the bar. 15 more mins later those bar seats stayed empty, a table had left behind us, was cleaned and people were seated who were waiting outside in line.

The drinks looked so good but I did not order anything, which is why I give this place 2 stars. We were told the line was for a table and that’s not what we were given, then we were ignored when we asked for a table when they became available. The hostess was deceitful.

If you’re looking for a sit down place, it looks like a gamble here. The hostess will lie to you to get you in the door and leave you standing at the bar with no intention to seat you. It’s a small bar, so it’s not comfortable. Do...

We stopped here for a quick cocktail after walking around Roma. It was my husband my self and my 2 kids, 11 & 6. We arrived around 6. As soon as I walked in, without saying a word I was told there are no kids allowed inside, which I have never been told in any restaurant ever. I figured it’s in the middle of the city and very touristy area, it would be fine. But I understood that restaurants can have their own rules, I said ok can we sit outside and with an attitude she said ok. From the second we sat down we were made to feel unwelcome. My kids were not rowdy in the least. They sat there and enjoyed their calamari. Everything took forever, from the drinks to the appetizers. We ordered 3 cocktails and an appetizer. It’s very unfortunate because there was one cocktail that I really enjoyed. Everything is really overpriced, for an amazing cocktail most times it’s worth it. This time it was not. You can go to Licorería Limantour (the 3rd best bar in the world, I believe) spend less have equally amazing cocktails and you won’t have to deal with the employees at Bar La Brujas. The employees of this place are ruining it for the business. I’ve had better experiences for less...

It was highly recomended, but after my visit, I was highly dissapointed. When you go to bars like this, you expect really good drinks and Service, neither of them were great. When we first arrived it was raining, they only had one clear table outside that was under a roof, two more exposed, so we obviously asked for the covered one, and the waitress told us she was using it to arrange some materials; it seemed to be two Pages of stickers, thus we told her it was raining, if she could be so kind to give us that table it would be great, for it was not a staff área it was part of the Service tables, for what she answered ok, but in a very dude way adding “it is raining very poorly”, took her Pages making a lot of noise and not coming back till 15 minutes after, when she took our order, just to bring some very basic cocktails and coming back just until we call her to ask for the check. It seemed we were more intruders...
