Got the curry with chicken and chicken biryani with 2 naans. Came on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. I want to preface this by saying that I am very particular about my Indian food. The first thing I noticed was that the Naan was very yeasty and dry. I brought this to the attention of the server and they said thay unfortunately, that is how the dough is. Although the chicken biryani looked like a fried rice with chopped, sauteed onions and ketchup, the flavor was much better than expected. Mixed with some raita, the chicken biryani was pretty good. The star of the show was the curry, very similar to butter chicken/chicken makhani. It was by far the best part of the meal. The curry was complex and flavorful. I could eat this with plain white rice all day. That is what I would recommend. Perhaps there was some kind of kitchen issue that day because I'm sure the curry is prepared ahead of time whereas the biryani and Naan are not. I would definitely come back for the curry and rice.

Beat Indian food in Tulum! Come here and feast! Loved the Tika with Saag Paneer. Big portions with such a delightful combination. We had this eggplant that was charred, shredded beets and carrots, sweet rice pudding called Khir, tasty lentil soup called sambal, fluffy and tender basmati rice and the best Garlic Naan. Of course we started with the veggie fritters called pakoras. They were perfectly friend and made of chickpea flour and it was so freshly prepared and crispy. We polished off the generous meal with chai and mango lassi. I can speak highly enough of the chill ambiance, the attentive wait staff and the hospitality. The owner was cordial and very welcoming. Greeted us with a smile and even sat down on the floor with us to say hi. Such a warm and loving place. Super chill too. Saw the dinner rush crowd come in. There is live kirtan here too. Love the vibe!

Worst experience in Tulum. The food looks amazing but was super salty and over priced for Indian food. Secondly the owner is a jerk. We told our waitress (who was super nice) that we were vegan and dont eat any animal products and she made sure that everything we ordered was vegan but the dessert ended up with milk. Which is okay we didn’t eat it but the owner went on this rant about how his restaurant is better than any other in Tulum because he doesn’t serve “rabbit food” like they do. Saying his country doesn’t distinguish between vegetarian and vegan. Saying that vegan is a made up word by “whites”. Whatever that means. So much more was said but w/e. We also got our drink in a plastic cup even though we had a table and there were glass cups visible. And to the owner reading this, “treat your customers better”

My name is Neel Patel, From Gujarat, India. I have a very good experience with Indian Food. But here it’s more than worse! Not even server knows these dishes’ names. We ordered Dahi puri..out of order..Pani puri…out of order..Mint Lassi..out of order…and then to make us fool as we don’t know what is actual Indian food, they brought mango lassi and said nothing!! I mean..is that for Real???? Then we order Paneer Butter masala and Ghee Chapati and Tomato soup… out of worst quality!! No spices at all, no taste just cream butter and tomato gravy! What was that??? We ended up eating only paneer pieces and ghee chapati was a joke!! Whoever goes in that restaurant…please search even the photos of these items online, or if you could taste a real Indian food that’s great and then you go here, You’ll tip $0 but we still gave 30 pesos to round up $670 bill.

The lady roaming around with Dhoop Fog was okay but look at her attitude! Wowwww! Just one thing is the atmosphere was good with some spiritual music. I don’t think the owner or cook or anyone of these guys are actually know how to make Indian food or even a single person is from India or what! Sorry guys but I was super hungry and I was excited to see you guys in town and got this experience! Thanks for making my evening mood...

The staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my meal. They were happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu.

Speaking of the menu, it was extensive and offered a wide range of Indian dishes that catered to every taste preference. From vegetarian options to meat dishes, there was something for everyone.

The flavors in the dishes were absolutely incredible, with each bite bursting with a range of spices and herbs that were expertly balanced. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing the care and attention that went into their preparation.

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall dining experience. The ambiance was perfect, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that made it easy to relax and enjoy my meal.

The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and the level of service provided. I left feeling satisfied, impressed, and eager to return.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance makes this restaurant a standout choice for...

If you're looking for authentic Indian food, Tika Curryngrill in Tulum is not the place to go. The food is inauthentic and lacks the genuine flavors of India. To add to the disappointment, the plates and cutlery were unhygienic and greasy, making the dining experience even worse. To make matters worse, the service is poor. The staff and owner are disinterested and couldn't care less about the quality of food or service they provide. It's clear that their only goal is to make money, regardless of customer satisfaction. To add insult to injury, the owner or manager was wearing fake holy clothes to fool non-lndian customers, which was incredibly offensive. It's clear that they're trying to create a fake Indian vibe, which only adds to the inauthenticity of the food. We made the mistake of visiting Tika Curryngrill and regret it. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. Instead, try some delicious Mexican street food. We did, and it was a much better experience than Tika Curryngrill. Don't waste your time and money on...
