We recently had dinner at Le Mart in the heart of Marrakech. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere, blending traditional and modern decor to create a comfortable space for dining.

We went to this restaurant because the veggie options looked very interesting and there was some more variety than the usual tajine and cous cous available in most other restaurants. However we were disappointed because the most of the dishes lacked flavour. The dishes were well plated and nice ingredients had been used but they were still not tasty. To top it off, the quantities were miniscule. Overall the price/quantity/quality ratio just wasn't right.

Ate here on our first evening in Marrakech as didn't have a reservation elsewhere and we wanted to stay near our riad in the dal bacha area. The service was exceptionally slow, eventhough there were only 4 couples in the restaurant. We ordered the chicken tagine and chicken cous cous. The food was bland. The chicken cold to luke warm. They brought no sauce for the cous cous. It was all borderline inedible. I also got an upset stomach the next morning. Please do not be attracted by the modern appearance like we were....
