Recently, I dined at Hankook, and while my experience had its ups and downs, it left me with mixed feelings. I'll provide an honest review to help others make an informed decision.
Firstly, it's important to note that they offers a variety of dishes, including beef options. Before proceeding, I would recommend confirming with the staff about the specific ingredients used in each dish, especially if you have dietary preferences or restrictions. In my case, I appreciated their transparency when they informed me that the mix kimbap contained beef, allowing me to cancel the order.
Now, let's discuss the taste. To be honest, it was just okay. While some dishes were enjoyable, I couldn't help but feel that the taste didn't quite match up to my expectations, especially considering the slightly higher prices compared to other Korean restaurants that offered better flavors. However, taste preferences can be subjective, so it's worth noting that others might have a different experience.
Moving on to the atmosphere, I must say that they excelled in this aspect. The ambiance was cool and the restaurant boasted spacious seating arrangements. This created a comfortable and relaxed environment for diners, allowing for an enjoyable meal in terms of the overall setting.
However, when it comes to the value for money, I must admit that I was not entirely satisfied. The prices seemed to be on the higher side compared to similar Korean restaurants offering more flavorful dishes. While I understand that quality and overhead costs can influence pricing, I personally felt that the overall experience did not justify the amount I paid.
In conclusion, my visit left me with mixed feelings. The atmosphere was pleasant, the taste of the dishes was average at best, and the prices were slightly higher than expected. I would recommend exploring other Korean dining options in the area before deciding to dine here, especially if you are seeking a more satisfying culinary...
Read moreHad the worst service experience over here. It was time around Christmas and we went over there for korean food but the place was jam packed. We asked one of the servers for the waiting time and specifically asked for the courtyard place no ups or anywhere else. They told us to wait for 10-15 mins and we did wait. When they called for us, they took us to the up floor section and I told them we did not wait for this place. There was one table available at the courtyard and we said we would like to sit over there and they deny us saying that “that place is for one of the owners and they have waited since long time”. This was absolutely rude, that so called one of the owners came after us and while waiting for the table they were in front of us. We waited for like half an hour and this was how they behaved.
I recommend not to go that place. Very bad service and...

Never expected Korean quality meat to be available in Nepal, but they do have here in Hankook. Well the place was spacious, outdoor grill place was a plus. I wasn't able to take a good look of the indoor restaurant coz we were directly lead to the garden area. For someone who loves Korean food and appreciates its authentic tastes, the Toppokki (Korean rice cake) is a good option and order MokSal (pork) for grilling. Despite of eating basmati rice from all other restaurant. Hankook sure does serve Sticky jasmine rice(good quality) they have unlimited refill of KIMCHI and Lettuce. All the side dishes where up to my liking, I just wish they have the pickled yellow radish 🤗
