PhatKath use to be in a different location in Thamel, more towards the north. Now it has remodelled and shifted more toward the center with a much larger seating capacity and cozy feel to it. You enter through an alleyway, decorated with masks and climb up the stairs. The bar is the first thing you notice, and will be greeted by staff. Staff are friendly and responsive. You can seat yourself according to your liking or can ask for assistance. They have indoor and outdoor seatings, I personally prefer the outdoors. Winters is a different story. Very relaxing a low key little hideaway for when you've had enough hustle and bustle of Thamel. The eclectic decorations and tree-house like ambience makes for the perfect home away from home, with excellent drinks and surprisingly delicious food. Amazing food.. amazing drinks... Great service and people serving here...good ambiance and place in general... I can spend the whole day here.. sitting alone.. sitting with friends.. or talking to strangers.. one of my favorite placee in KTM... N certainly with my highest recommendationsss..
