This is the first restaurant we went to after landing in Nepal. We looked up local momo shops in Thamel and it came up as one of the first few recommendations. The food takes a really long time to arrive ‘cause it’s made fresh. We could see the cooks prepare it in the back. Barasinghe Beer - a locally crafted beer which you must try when in Nepal Steamed Mix Vegetable Momos: (5/5) insanely delicious with a super spicy yet flavorful chutney Steamed Chicken Momos: (5/5) super flavorful Jhol Mix Vegetable Momos: (4/5) I could have bowls and bowls of this. Just amazing!

Read moreOne of my iterinary was to dry different Local MOMO Restaurant in town.
Location: is along Thamel Street only opposite of Baskin Robbins. The signage was visible and clear. But there is one difficulty for me to get inside the restaurant,no direction where was the stairs located or how to go up.Even local neighboring shops down the building didn't know where is the way going up.
Food: was great,I like the texture of MOMO.And it's my first time to try the Garlic and cheese momo.Their chutney sauce is amazing, not too spicy for me.
Cleanliness:Good enough.
Service: isn't that wow for me.But aslong I saw server smiling.
Serving Size: quantity was great you can choose five or ten pieces.
Cost:Value for money is good enough.
