Worst Food, Worst Service, Waste of money
I went to this restaurant with my 22 respected guests from bangladesh. I wanted them to have indian lunch as they are not habituated for nepali food.
I visited the restaurant to reserve food for my guests in the morning at 10:30, as there was no owner or manager , i tooked their visiting card(business card) and tried to call the owner as mentioned in the card. He wasnt answering the call. He answered my call after an hour. It was my 4th time calling to the number as mentioned in the card. Then i ordered my food via phone. I told him we will come for lunch after 1:30pm. We reached the restaurant at 2 pm or something. Now the worst part started.
48 minutes of waiting for the food. Then even the food didnt came properly. Very few waiter working in dirty clothes. As my guests were very hungry and asked me to serve them asap, i myself entered the kitchen to help them to serve the food.
Daal fry(indian lentil) was sour that means it was prepared yesterday. My guests barely touched the Daal, no body eat it. Another one was, mixed vegetable curry, totally spicy 🥵 spice level very very very hot. It was like eating chilly.
Fish curry was not tasty. The fish curry was totally watery like daal fry, curry means u should have a lot of gravy. Mine fish curry had no gravy either.
My guest themselves started complaining about food to their Manager. But he denied. He says the food is good. He constantly kept telling that It was our mistake to think that the food is not prepared properly.
He didnt accepted his mistake. While i asked for Bill he showed me bill of 17000 nepalese rupee. Ok i had more than 17000 in my budget for the lunch but who will pay that huge money if you havent eaten even half of the food and your stomach is still empty. So i called his boss. I had a very bad argument with that idiot so called manager. He is very uneducated person, u can listen to the way he speaks. I am a nepali but he is like worst nepali among the nepali.
I settled my dispute after talking to the owner. I asked him to improve his food quality & his staff. Paid 14000 nepalese rupees. He didnt charged me for Daal fry and some portion of mixed vegetable curry.
Well worst worst worst food experience in my lifetime. Pokhara i wasnt expecting this from you. So i wrote this long review so that you people reading my review and dont go there because its waste of your money.

Read moreHad been Pokhara recently for two days. Bedding North India, so searched/ enquired for North Indian food outlets. Suggestions came for this restaurant called 'Punjabi Rasoi' which is nearby to the Fewa Lake. They have two restaurants, one exclusively for Veg., another right opposite for Non Vegetarian. For both the restaurant,Ambience, cleanliness, taste of foods is okay except the services part. Found only two waiters there, who took orders and also used to serve. It took almost 90 minutes to serve the dishes ordered for. One old couple sitting on the next table revealed that what they ordered first, later, after 40 minutes, were asked that their order couldn't be fulfilled as the materials to cook are not available. After so much of bickering,They placed another, And alas, they were still waiting their order to be served till we left. There was only one chef available, was the Reason given by the manager. Rates of dishes are competitive and affordable. Liquors available. So, if you have that much of time and patience, the place may be visited....
Read moreVery poor service. I ordered one mutton curry and they took one hour to serve it to my table and even they don't felt bad for their service. My beer gets totally out of its fizz. And when its comes to taste of food its just like if you're hungry to eat any thing and whatever comes infront of you, you'll eat.
