I regret to say that my recent visit to Sarang Tandoori Restaurant was thoroughly disappointing. From start to finish, the experience left much to be desired.

Firstly, the ambiance was lackluster and uninspiring. The decor felt outdated and in need of a refresh, contributing to a rather drab atmosphere.

Moving on to the service, it was shockingly slow and inattentive. It took an eternity for our orders to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. The staff seemed disinterested and indifferent to our needs.

As for the food itself, it was a major letdown. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, tasting bland and uninspired. It felt like they were merely going through the motions rather than striving for culinary excellence.

To make matters worse, the prices were unjustifiably high for the quality of food and service provided. It felt like we were being charged a premium for mediocrity.

Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend Sarang Tandoori Restaurant to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for authentic Indian cuisine and...

🚨Achtung!🚨 Hier ist Vorsicht geboten! Ich bestelle den Tandoori Fisch, ein Gemüsecurry und ein garlic naan. Der Fisch ist köstlich und ich genieße mein Mahl. Dann das böse Erwachen. Auf der Rechnung steht 1 kg Fisch!! Was? Das ist doch ein schlechter Scherz. Ich alleine 1 kg Fisch mit 2 Beilagen? Ich bin Fischesserin und weiß, das war nicht mehr als ein halbes Kilo. Als ich reklamiere hat das Personal gewechselt und man hat "den Fisch nicht gesehen". Ich zahle frustriert und widerwillig, meine Stimmung ist im Keller. Ich beschließe, am nächsten Tag mit dem zuständigen Personal zu sprechen. Doch ich muss wieder mit den gleichen Leuten verhandeln. Der Kellner ist verärgert und meint dass alles etwas kostet? Wie bitte? Deshalb darf man den Gästen das Doppelte vom Preis verrechnen? Unglaublich. Und die anwesende Frau behandelt mich überaus herablassend. Schließlich gesteht man ein, dass die kleineren Fische um die 700-800 Gramm haben. Und ich bekomme 300 nrp von 1300 zurück. Das entspricht zwar noch immer nicht dem echten Gewicht und Wert des Fisches, aber mehr gibt man nicht zu. Was craving for some grilled fish. Visited this gem located near the fewa lake boat ticket counter. Ordered a chicken thukpa. The broth was hearty with chunks of chicken.
