After visiting a few beer tasting pubs in Amsterdam, I thought the Bierfabriek would be one of them. In German we use pretty much the same word so I expected a huge variety of beers to chose from. To my surprise there were only 3 beers. A blond beer, an amber and a porter. I feel in love with the amber one (called Rosso), its smoothness and taste are unmatched. Lets get back to the place. It's located south of the royal palace in between it and rembrandtplein. But what makes this place so special? 1. Peanuts. Yeah, peanuts. There are bags of peanuts all over the place, you are free to grab them, crack the shell and eat as much as you like. The shells are usually thrown on the floor which then create kind of a carpet. It reminded me of the small paper pieces the throw on the floor in Spain. 2. The chicken. The place sells bio chicken, rather small, but with a fantastic taste and great fries. 3. Draft tables which allow you to craft your own beers! There's an indicator of how many liters you drafted which you then have to pay when you leaft. Unfortunately it is rather difficult to get these draft tables. On the weekend, there's also a DJ, a few tables are being removed and then it also turn into a club...
Read moreVery few food selection, You order via a QR code, i could not decide for food, there for i ordered fries which were delicious, my friend got the chicken which looked and tasted great. However the tables were filthy on arrival, after we sat down and i had my arms touching the table i had to go to wash down the sticky mess. Biers arrived and for this i am giving a 2 star 🌟 was not drinking temperature, the beer was warm. I went inside and said to the waiter who told us that they will make new ones, after 10 minutes we received same warm drinks. I didnt touched mine,
Is it anything special to this place? Not from this experience, something id return for there? Not really,
Suggestion: maybe a meat burger aswell if you have the vegan burger. Drinks and meals must be ordered separately, is just not the way i feel doing when i go out and i am tipping somebody.
When you find the tables dirty and glasses not brought to bar, would be nice a little more interaction with staff.
And i mention was not busy that would be understandable the condition of the tables we sat at.
Goodluck, you have a beautiful building housing this experience. Its sad not find anything appealing to eat...

Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by one of the waiters (young, muscle, dark hair, man). When we came to the moment of payment we were last two people left at the table and due to company expenses system we want to split our bill. We have even exactly counted the amount for each of us that we had to pay, so the waiter does not have any work with this. He arrogantly refused to accept payment like this, and he became very rude. After all, he pushed us to pay just buy one card. Splitting this card bill will take us significant amount of work within the company systems.
So we left from the restaurant with very bitter and angry mood.
I know that hiring staff for hospitality is now very hard, but that person should not be in contact with other people at all.
I wish you all the best and good luck with...
