A hole in the wall restaurant with the only giveaway that it is a chinese restaurant inside is the calendar on the wall. BUT we arent here for the decor! The food arrives on the white , white and blue or orange melamine plates so reminiscent of a cha chan ting in hk. The congee doesnt disappoint and it is on point with some flavours you do not get anywhere else in EUROPE. We had the siew mai and the rice rolls with dried shrimp. Interestingly the dried shrimp was INSIDE the skin of the rolls and gave the whole thing an even aroma. This means they made it themselves beforehand and steamed it warm upon ordering.
Worth a mention is the beef brisket . Lovely stuff. We had it with hor fun, but it was tasty nonetheless.

Menus are translated to dutch and english, with chinese wording in the menu folders. The descriptions do a good job of describing the food, but sometimes you need the chinese wording to know what you are really ordering.
