Read moreThe food was great like usual but I still can’t believe what happened. It was my anniversary and we went out for a nice dinner; we’d been here before and liked the wings so we came back. I knew from memory didn’t serve anything I would drink only serve soft drinks and alcohols milkshakes etc, so I brought my own watered down iced tea from home.
We ordered food and were happily waiting when the man working there badly scolded us after seeing my drink, saying it was extremely rude to bring a drink in and suggested we finish it and buy something. He was really mean. I just said I’m really sorry, I didn’t know it wasn’t allowed. He walked off upset and ignored us the rest of the night.
honestly, I just wanted to go home after that but we’d already ordered. We were respectful, paid $60 for our meal, and just brought a drink you don’t offer to go with it. The way he handled it was unkind and unnecessarily harsh especially :(
Next time for you guys that work there - you can handle the situation much better by simply explaining the policy and just politely informing them. I had no idea it would be a problem, I would understand if I was bringing in alcohol or not purchasing food from your restaurant but that wasn’t the case, It was definitely a memorable experience just not for the...
Read moreWe had booked a table for 3pm in advance and specifically requested a low table, as one of our friends is pregnant. While the restaurant did accommodate this request, the seating was in a U-shape and the table was fixed, making it very difficult for her to get in. We asked if there were any open chairs available. They did have one, but mentioned there wasn’t much time before the next reservation. The waiting staff helped by moving the table so our friend could get seated. However, the sofa area was covered in crumbs. I had to clear them myself just to sit comfortably. Around 4 PM, we noticed the setup for live music had begun, and our table happened to be on the stage (which is very strange). Musicians started bringing in their equipment, but no one from the staff informed us about this. Naturally, we couldn’t stay seated so close to drums and sound equipment, so we decided to eat quickly and leave.
What was disappointing is that the staff showed no courtesy to let us know in advance or offer an alternative seating option. The musicians were setting up practically on top of our table—it felt as we were being pushed to leave. So, we did.
The food is on the pricier side, but it’s decent.
Still, we didn’t expect such poor experience, especially...
