On arrival I was surprised to find I couldn't see any wheelchair access points as you have to go up an escalator or stairs, but when I later visited the bathrooms I could see that there was a lift there but I do know where it goes down to downstairs as I could not see it near the stairs or escalator. They do have the ordering machines here but the one that I used did not have any receipts in which is quite normal and the code that was given quickly flashed by- this is quite common practice in McDonald's all over with no receipts in the machines then the order number not even on screen for a second (not even a joke, it's honestly less than a second). After I placed my order, very quickly the first item came out. Each of my three items came out separately and the order of this was totally backwards. They looked averagely busy, nothing extreme, so I decided to wait for my sit in order (19:10). I waited less than 2 minutes for my ice cream which was in a cone so dripping all over my hands whilst I had to stand there waiting for the rest of my order. It took nearly 12 minutes for the main part of my meal to be served and I was still waiting another 3 minutes for my drink to be served (19:35). My times are correct as I photograph my order number when I finish ordering and also photographed when my order was complete. By this point my ice cream had melted all across the floor but there's not a lot I could have done as if I had have sat down then I would not have known when my order was called out as there's not a screen to watch here either like they have at every single other McDonald's that I have ever visited. The bathrooms here are very disgusting to put it nicely, this is also reflected in the rest of the building which is honestly vile. Every single table that I looked at had rubbish on it and food across the floor. After I finished all of my food, I then saw one staff member go around and do some general cleaning. This was very slow and filled up bins quickly. I feel like this shop is in major need of a visit and more help, not sure if they're just understaffed and undertrained or if it's just moral, but this is not a good McDonald's. Staff seemed friendly enough but just slow and dazed almost. Food was of...
Read moreSpeed of food was good! Some dude wearing a beanie socks with no shoes came in and from outward appearances ‘not quite there’ leaning over the pickup counter looked like he was helping himself to the drinks and McFlurry being left of the counter with no security guard on site. (Really strange for an inner city McDonald’s not having one?) the employees just didn’t know what to do with this guy but he eventually left. The only way it appeared you could order here is with the 6 machines there… only the machines don’t print anything presumably nobody has (ever?) filled the receipt machines. They are meant to print out a number, which is the only way the employees call out your number, so you have to remember your number given by the machine that doesn’t give you a physical copy and lasts on the screen for 10 seconds before it disappears. This place is definitely for if you’re desperate for maccas and you’ve got a good memory for order numbers. Food is good. One star for making the food well and the other because the guy made me another ice cream after leaving the other one out in full space of the weirdo leaning over the counter and the ice cream for 2 minutes before they finished the rest of my order. Another bonus is the...
Read moreI am not one to leave a bad review but oh my god. I went in today, I never judge the rubbish or inattentive staff because I understand they are so busy and understaffed but I ordered a small frozen Coke Zero sugar as a mid work day pick me up. I saw the guy had just overfilled a regular one and instead of making me a new one he poured the regular frozen coke into my zero sugar cup and gave me a full sugar. This wouldn’t be the end of the world if I wasn’t diabetic! I felt so nauseous and sick, had to give it to my coworker because even the sip I had messed with my blood sugar so much and make me feel so faint. I had asked him when recieving my coke because I saw he gave me the wrong thing if it had no sugar and he lied to my face. I wanna give the benefit of the doubt but it’s pretty shocking, you never know who you’re serving and it’s really important to make sure to not lie to...
