I have been coming to Lucy’s since its inception as i live next door. Today I had the worst experience (racist behaviour) 27th October. He is the new guy haven't seen him before comes to our table and advised us (we must get out) I asked him pardon what did you just say he repeated (you must get out as bar is closed now) my wife advised him is this the way you speak with your regular customers? (get out??) there are other tables in the bar too which were occupied and enjoying their drinks. (Please check your cameras between 2200 to 2310) Nobody informed us about the last call (Check cameras if that new guy came to our table) I asked the Bar tender while buying my last drink what time is the last call he advised me last call 22:30 I advised him nobody came to my table to tell that and I was fine with that I can understand being an hospitality professional.( I suppose it was the time between 2145 to 2215 ) Are this the words used in hospitality (Get out?)
I myself work in hospitality at management level and I have worked with EVT brand before in 2015 - 2016. I come at Lucy’s to enjoy the vibe .I have been visiting Lucy since Kyle was the F&B Manager and recently haven't seen the one after him.
Is this the way you treat your regular customers?
Will not be coming back again....
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at Miss Lucy’s in Auckland. The food was consistently delicious and full of flavor. Whether it was a quick snack or a full meal, everything we tried was really good. The service was also solid, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs.
What really stood out was the amazing atmosphere. It’s such a lively and welcoming place, and there’s always something going on to keep you entertained. The seating and standing options are well-designed, making it a comfortable spot whether you’re there for a casual drink or a full evening out.
There was one small hiccup when our order got misplaced, and we had to remind the staff. However, they handled it well, and we were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a large portion of fries on the house as an apology. This gesture definitely made up for the inconvenience and showed their commitment to good customer service.
The drinks were another highlight – well-made and absolutely enjoyable. Overall, Miss Lucy’s is a fantastic spot, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent drinks, and an amazing atmosphere...
Read moreI’ve never even been, but heard good things! The many stories of exceptional service and lively atmospheres have made their way to Bristol, England where I live. Locals here rave about Miss Lucy’s in Auckland, they yearn for somewhere like this in England. I’ve heard the staff are the best in the country, with the star of the show being Esther. I’ve heard her professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled, while also remaining to be a friendly and inviting face. Miss Lucy’s is lucky to have an employee like this on their roster, but then who wouldn’t want to work for this delightful establishment?!
I work two jobs here in Bristol, day and night, in the hopes of one day being able to get across to New Zealand and visit Miss Lucy’s. I’ll ask for Esther by name and spend all evening just taking in my surroundings. Sitting at the bar will be a surreal experience, and I hope to one day make this...
