THE BASE BAR&RESTAURANT (聚点烧烤city) — Restaurant in Waitematā

The food is really nice. But the male manager is rude enough and always make ordering mistake. When we got the wrong food, we ask them to double check what we have ordered. Because we actually didn’t order the prawn. But the man said we order the prawn with him, and he heard clearly we order the prawn. When we says we want to meet the manager. He says HE is the MANAGER !When we want to meet the boss, he says the boss is not in the restaurant and we only can talk to him. This is no sorry. And I feel this just like a trick. I can do NOTHING for his mistake. When I chat with my friends today, and we find my friends also know the male manger as he always order wrong food. And when whey want to chat to the leader here , he will say he is the manger. I hope the boss of the bbq can change this male manager as soon as possible. I really used to go this restaurant for dinner but MOST OF staffs's attitudes are so rude. I made a order for soup with starch noodles and i kept reminded them it is starch noodles because whenever i get there they gave me something wrong. And then when i get food and get to my home i was really disappointed because it was rice noodles not stach noodles. So i went back there to tell this is happened, they had never said sorry to me. THE MANAGER chinese woman told me 'there has only $1 difference why dont you just eat' I really want to go there to have nice food but because of staff i cannot go...

This used to be my favourite night bar/lounge for casual night outs. Their sichuanese prawn and chicken skewers were amazing and they also did a pulled pork and rice dish (forgotten the Chinese name of this dish) but their food was simply amazing. I am sad to see this...
