BurgerFuel Parnell — Restaurant in Waitematā

This has to be the best Burgerfuel I’ve had so far, and I’ve eaten a LOT of Burgerfuel. It’s been over ten years now!

My partner and I come here about once a week. We order online before leaving in the car - about a ten minute drive - and it’s always ready on time. There are other Burgerfuel joints a little closer, but we’re willing to make the drive…

for the kumara fries. I don’t know what they do differently to everyone else, but it’s almost like a tempura batter. It’s SO good - salty, crispy, hot and fresh. They’re always filled to the brim too (sometimes more)!

Also, the team are so friendly and generous. I went in there for my free birthday burger (sign up to be a VIB, folks!) and the guy who served me had a chat while he bagged it and hooked me up with tonnes of free aioli. He asked his colleague to pass more over especially for it, so it was clear he’d thought about it because it was my birthday, and it wasn’t just an accident. We all know that Burger Fuel is the indisputable burger leader in NZ, the flavour and the variety they that they offer. But in this opportunity I want to narrate what a superb experience I had with the service from the Parnell branch: I organised a picnic with a team of 20 celebrating the end of year, and seeing each other in person after more than 100 days in lockdown. I made the order online with no problem, state of the art ordering platform, as soon as I paid the order, I received a call to coordinate the delivery, as we were meeting in the Parnell Rose gardens I thought that could be an issue, Mark the owner not only came to the Garden, but he delivered all the way to the area we were hanging out, he gave us vouchers, christmas crackers and amazing food. We decided to ring up last Friday to get some take away before driving to the beach for the weekend. The moment the phone was answered - I commented to my husband how awesome the service was - the guy on the phone was friendly and made sure to repeat our order back as we had a couple of changes. When we arrived to pick up our order we had changed our mind and decided to eat in - the staff promptly took our burgers away and brought them back plated up which was awesome - quite fancy for a burger joint! The whole place was humming and seemed to be a well-oiled machine.
