Hi, good day! I’d like to share my experience dining at your Glorietta branch last night. Unfortunately, the service we received was quite different from what I usually experience at your Greenbelt 5 branch. When we arrived, we weren’t properly acknowledged by the staff and weren’t informed right away if there was a table available. After being seated, it took around 10 minutes before anyone provided us with menus, and we had to call their attention again for water. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at that time, so we were quite surprised. We also noticed that complimentary chips were served to the table next to us, but not to ours. This made us feel a bit overlooked. One of the staff members also seemed in a hurry when we asked about the menu and gave unsure answers. Additionally, the same staff member handled our plates in a noticeably unpleasant manner a few times. When our tiramisu was served, we weren’t given dessert plates and spoons, so we requested them, but the items were placed on our table rather abruptly, which came across as discourteous. That said, kudos to Chris and Gela, who were the only ones who assisted us properly and showed genuine courtesy. We really appreciate their effort. I’m sharing this feedback not to complain, but to help the team improve consistency and service attitude. Cibo has always been a favorite of ours, and we hope that all branches can reflect the same warm and attentive service we’ve always appreciated at Greenbelt. Thank you for taking this feedback constructively. Warm regards, Calvin

This is by far the worst Cibo branch I’ve been to. Service was so slow it took more than 10mins for the dessert to be served and I just ordered their Cornetto gelato bread. It wasn’t even good. We just ate the gelato and left the pastry since it was so hard and it didn’t seem fresh. It took so long to bill out too! We had to ask twice from two different waiters. Their service at the start of out meal was okay; they were very attentive since there weren’t a lot of customers but when the customers started to increase, their service wasn’t consistent unlike other Cibo branches wherein even if the restaurant was full we would still get good service. It was my first time trying out their porchetta and I would not recommend this. I had high expectations since Zubuchon was my favorite lechon chain in cebu but the one they served me felt like days old frozen Zubuchon, microwaved and served on a plate. The skin wasn’t crunchy and it was hard to bite, the meat itself was hard to cut, the sauces that came with it wasn’t good. Mang Tomas lechon sauce tastes better than the one they served. The only thing I enjoyed is of course their iced tea since it’s my favorite iced tea and I’m relieved that they didn’t mess it up and also the amount of rice that was served with the porchetta. For now, I would rather take the extra effort in going to greenbelt’s Cibo branch than here since my experience there was positive unlike this branch. I do hope things would improve with this branch.

If you are looking for italian-style pasta, then this is the right place. Just a disclaimer, the price might be a little expensive (ranging 350+ at the minimum) but considering the taste and the experience of having a fine dining, then I could definitely say its worth it. For appetizer, we order the spinach dip. I think this might fill your cravings. I mean, it is really a must try. The way the spinach melts in your mouth as you take a bite in their crunchy bread, just imagine the taste of it. It was super delicious and a must try. We also ordered a pizza but I forgot the name of it. It was fine for me. Try it if you want. And then, the main dish - pasta. For me, I was satisfied with my order. I ordered the Beef and Pork Ragu. Its like an italian style spaghetti. It comes with one piece of garlic bread (try dipping it with your left over spinach dip) and the taste of it is like a tomatoe with beef and pork. The spaghetti pasta is perfectly served al dente. My friend ordered the penne alla fiorentina. This is one of my faves among all of our orders. Its like a carbonara style but the pasta used was penne. The serving is great since they are welcoming and accommodating. You can definitely approach then whatever you may need, and they will surely attend you. All in all, it was a new and good experience. Will try again this soon!

We were disappointed by the poor customer service at your Glorietta Branch. We queued for almost 30 minutes before we were directed to our table. While waiting, my wife and I had already selected the food we were going to order. When we were seated, we were informed by the waiter that several food items are no longer available. We tried to be considerate to the waiter since it’s Valentine’s Day, and it was expected that people would troop to restaurants to celebrate the event. So as a result, we were forced to order other food items. We waited for almost 20 minutes only to be told that one of our orders is not anymore available. We could no longer transfer to another restaurant at the time since we had already wasted almost an hour at Cibo. And transferring to another restaurant would have meant waiting for another 30 minutes before we could eat. Had the waiter or manager informed us from the start that several food items are no longer available, we would have decided to transfer to another restaurant. Your store could have anticipated the influx of people on that day since it was Valentine’s Day, but to our surprise, Cibo failed in this aspect miserably. Thanks to the waiter named Josh. He was very accommodating and courteous throughout the ordeal. We could not recommend any dishes since many were unavailable at the time. Lastly, we were only billed for the additional orders we added, as we were informed that our initial orders would be shouldered by Cibo. No matter what, the fact remains that Cibo ruined our date night on...
