(Update Apr. 23, 2023) I'm pleased to note that they finally have started serving food, freshly baked from their onsite bakery. It's at the back end, behind those long windows that are usually curtained off. The food is good; nothing fancy, but you can't beat the taste and texture of fresh bread. They also changed the size of their drinks, now coming in a smaller, more typical size, with a slight reduction in price to compensate. But all around, still the same good stuff, so I'm retaining my 5-star rating.

(Feb. 19, 2023) My new favorite daytime hangout in the Glorietta area (and, right now, the Makati area in general). It’s the first Philippine branch of the Korean coffeeshop chain, and has the amenities and offerings of the more well known western style coffeeshops. You can hang out like in a library (a noisier version), and many tables have outlets where you can plug your devices in. What I like about it over the usual coffeeshop chains is that it’s very spacious, and at the same time its more remote location (at the rooftop area just off the Glorietta 4 cinemas) means that I usually don’t have a problem getting a seat.

Their coffees and other drinks are delicious. Good creamy taste and texture, and very reasonably priced. They currently come in only one size, but its like the largest size in most other coffeeshops. The prices are very reasonable, currently ranging from 150 to 230 pesos, which is at par or cheaper than the smallest drinks of the others.

They just opened, so they currently don’t serve any food yet, but that’s obviously coming soon. They’ve already set up the food display cabinets, and several times the staff have gone around giving samples of breads that they’re planning to serve. It all tastes promising, and I look forward to updating my review when they’re in full swing.

Ambience is modern, bright, and airy. Staff are courteous and professional. The airconditioning is more than adequate, even at noontime, and considering their rooftop location. In fact, I recommend that you bring a jacket, as it can get quite cold if the seat that you find is in the path...

Place is spacious, ambiance is ok. but the staff lacks training, are very slow and have no clear system in taking orders. this is my first visit and was looking forward to their offerrings. queued up patiently on a sunday afternoon and as expected there were many customers, the cashier just left her post without giving any notice to the next in line to order (not me) to make drinks when already there were 3people making drinks already. how weird is that? what she did made the ordering line sooo long with customers carrying their trays of pastry.

Foodwise, red bean bread with walnuts is really good. i also enjoyed the chewy texture of corn cheese ciabatta, although i was expecting it to have a creamy corn mixture as filling but turns out there were just some bits of corn baked with the dough and some toasted cheese on top. chocolate chip scones was too dry. Mint chocolate paikccino with ice cream is good, taste of the peppermint is just right and not overly sweet. although i wouldnt recommend to add the ice cream as it was not creamy. a bit more like the consistency of frozen yogurt although it does not taste bad. the iced lemon tea is also refreshing, not really extra special but my mom enjoyed it with...

Good iced coffee and pastries.

Their best sellers: Caramel Macchiato and Strawberry Banana Paikccinno, did not disappoint. Both of them were sweetened correctly for it to not give you flavor fatigue. The Strawberry Banana Paikccinno was unique and the banana flavor was not overwhelming.

The pastries we had were the Garlic Baguette and the Chocochip Scorn. Garlic Baguette had an amazing flavor profile to it and the cream cheese in the middle gave it a boost in sweetness. Chocochip Scorn, it was tough to bite into, it was more of a hard biscuit, regardless it was not overly sweet and the chocolate that was used on one side was dark chocolate giving it some depth in its flavor.

The aesthetic of the place was more on open space with heavy use in directional light, making the place look dimmer than it is. You can notice the difference in light intensity halfway up the walls. The tables and chairs were not too close to each other, even for the 2 person table area.

They also offer a semi enclosed space or room for a group of people. I think it was 6 or more people for it to be available.

Overall a great experience, would come by again when I happen to...

The place is really big and can accommodate a lot of people. Ambience is great and suitable for studying or working although wifi is not available. Nevertheless, globe signal is stable enough for lte/data. As for the beverages and food, pastries are not yet available and will be offered starting next month according to the staff. As for the coffee selection, here are the iced coffees that we have tried and our rating: Condensed Milk Latte - 9/10 ; it's like a spanish latte spin off, this one's gotta be my personal favorite Original - 8/10 ; if you are unsure and want to order something safe in the menu this is definitely recommended! however, if you like your coffee a little stronger then this one's not really suggested Caramel Macchiato - 8/10 ; kinda sweeter than I expected but still tastes good especially for people who love their coffee a little sweeter As for the price, I would say it is reasonably fair and affordable considering that they only offer one size for all (which is similar to Starbucks' venti size). Overall, definitely recommend this place!! The cafe's interior and overall aesthetic makes you feel like you're actually in a cafe in Korea. 💜
