J.CO Donuts & Coffee Glorietta — Restaurant in Makati

Located outside the mall. Across the street from H&M and Park Square Parking Lot.

The place has plenty of seats but food handling hygiene is very poor.

The staff are inefficient and dysfunctional for the most part. They are grumpy and serve without smiles on their faces. You are just a number to be processed to be kicked out.

It took some time to have my cafe latte made. Despite having three baristas, the service was on the slow side. It isn't Starbucks speed we're talking about.

They did provide un gratis a glazed donut for every coffee ordered.. However, when I took a small bite, it was too oily. Therefore, I did not eat the rest.

The 160 pesos Venti (tre) cafe latte tasted odd. I didn't get that cafe latte taste. They have Equal as a sugar substitute, which was a pleasant surprise, and we certainly availed of this.

They play HARDBALL in trying NOT to give you Equal, but if you stand your ground, they will give it.

They do not provide skim milk. Rather, only fatty milk was available. This was disheartening to hear from a supposed "coffee shop."

There are too many employees at this shop that efficiency suffers. May I suggest reducing the workforce by 25% to increase efficiency?

The cashier will touch your donut box container and thus inadvertently touch your donuts. The issue with this is that the cashier touched so many dirty cash with her hand from other customers. Poor hygiene is a huge issue here.

Overall. I would recommend this place, but with reservations. Do not expect skim milk and exercise patience in their inefficiency. You may just be overwhelmed by the sheer number of employees over...

A nice modern looking cafe in Glorietta.

Be aware - It is located outside of the mall as there is no direct access from the mall.

There are large windows surrounding the cafe so there is plenty of natural light.

There are a lot of seating and tables with electric plugs near the wall. The plugs under the table dont seem to work though.

The cafe latte is very good! It tastes better than Starbucks and cheaper too.

However, the glazed donut was bad. It is very oily and very airy - too airy in fact. You can taste the oil when you chew the donut.

Service was a little slow and it wasn't too busy at all. You also have to be careful because not all store associates know what they're talking about. I asked for equal sugar substitute 1 day, which they had, only to be told they dont carry it at all the next day. The associate double checked with the barista who confirmed they had it. Seems like they're stingy with giving out their equal.

Cafe is a relaxing place to stay in but my internet connection was slightly bad. They have lots of dine-in space with some seats outside. Couches are my favorite but my last option would be the ones near the restroom. You'll never know when someone releases gas that lingers.

I was thinking the Choconuttzy would have Choc Nut but the creamy filling was more like peanut butter. Chocolate Mint Frappe Delight had several tiny chocolate balls on top.
