I had the most delightful dining experience at Ramen Kuroda in Glorietta 5! From the moment I stepped inside, the warm ambiance and the incredibly kind, heartwarming staff made me feel like I was part of their family. Honestly, I’ve never experienced such genuine hospitality before—it was like being welcomed into someone's home with open arms. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable. 💖 Now, let’s talk about the food—the Signature Tonkotsu Ramen was absolutely divine! The broth was rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of savory umami, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Every spoonful felt like a warm hug. 🍜 I also had the Gyoza as an appetizer, and it was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside—simply outstanding. 🥟 The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable considering the high quality of food and the exceptional service. If you're craving authentic, comforting ramen and want to be treated like family, Ramen Kuruda is the place to go. It's a little slice of Japan in Makati, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended! 🙌

As far as i can tell this is the only restaurant in the G5 building. Located at the 2nd floor right next to Starbucks and Uniqlo. The ramen is affordable right along side the other Ramen Stores branding with P250 price point. The broth is good. Flavorful and a bit creamy. The ramen has green onions and ajitama with Chasu. Just the basics, no menma, nori, mushroom to keep the prices down but you can add it from the menu if you like the whole package. Of course the price point will now go around the 350+ range. Good thing the tamago is part of the initial ramen unlike other well known brands where the ajitama is considered an additional order. Service is good and the place is nice and clean. I consider it a light meal along the affordable side in this part of town where every meal is a bit expensive.

Ramen Kuroda has always been my favorite ramen place. For the price, you really get your money's worth. As compared to other ramen places, Ramen Kuroda has a wider selection of bento meals, but less a la carte options. Their shoyu ramen is always the right amount of salty, garlicky goodness that just melts in your mouth and warms your stomach. Their extra serving of noodles is also quite generous, compared to other ramen joints. The only problem we had was the serving time. Though we went at a busy time (7:30 PM), we didn't expect our food to take longer than 15 min to be served. It took about 20 min before our meals came but they were piping hot, which was a good indicator that everything was relatively fresh.

My partner praised this ramen restaurant for how good it is and Ramen Kuroda cemented itself as one of my favorites.

We arrived at the place an hour before opening (we thought it would open at 10AM but turns out that’s for its weekend hours). Waited for some time and they started letting customers in ten minutes after opening. Staff took our orders with breeze and the place itself is nice but there’s the smell of commercial cleaners still around lingering around (haha). Food was served quickly than expected and it was really good for its price (ordered a set).

Kuro Ramen — strong garlic taste, perfect for garlic lovers out there. Broth is identical with Shiro Ramen.

Shiro Ramen — the basic flavor; better than most ramens out there. The taste of deep flavor really is the selling point.

Oyako Don — the sauce for this is great for the rice! Meat is soft and flavorful and really filling.

Tonkatsu — nothing really wows this for me, just a plain tonkatsu.

There’s tea with each set meal and it’s basically warm C2 if I’m going to simplify it taste wise. Great for those who loves tea.

Overall, a great experience and this restaurant has some good points with their...

The food is great no doubt. But the service didn't met the standard. I've been talking to the server for some clarification about the menu but its seems she's not on focus, she keep talking to her fellow workmate and they both shouting. I asked the server how long should it take for them to serve our order because I know there's waiting time no problem with that but she told me that it will take 10-15 minutes, but it tooks 30-40 minutes without prior notice to us its just a poor service at all. When our food comes some of us dont have a spoon, chopsticks, and even the tea that supposedly together with the meal is not yet serve. The tea of my father is cold, his karage is almost burnt, my noodles that will be serve later also took long what a disappointment. I've asked also the server if they have a feedback form so that i can tell our expericed she told me that they don't have a feedback form. So I just told to her our experience and I told her to just tell it to her manager. This is our first time visiting ramen kuroda but I think this will be our first and last because of...
